Brief
Part 2: Brand presentation
Your final project is to present to us, an existing, new, or reinvented brand, via
visual means. This requires a presentation type document, no more than 10
pages long, that introduces us to your chosen brand.
The presentation should be A3 and either landscape or portrait.
Learning outcomes:
Ability to creatively and effectively apply and integrate image editing and
digital presentation software (Photoshop or similar) into design process
and project development.
Generate and deliver a quality final output in presentation form
Demonstrate an understanding of key aesthetic, communication and
presentation principles
Exhibit professionalism and engagement, including improving confidence
with computer aided design methods and project management and
organization.
Deadlines:
Formative submissions during weeks 12. Exact dates and submission
checklist to follow.
Submission format
Physical work:
All physical work must be submitted on or before each deadline to the
correct studio or classroom, either as a hand in or during a pin up or
critique.
All physical work must include your name and course title.
We advise photographing all submitted work.
Vision:
The University and the School of Textiles and Design uses a Virtual Learning
Environment (VLE) called Vision to receive and manage all digital uploads of
work. This is a mandatory component of your education with us.
For this course please refer to (Vision link) as a means to upload your work
when required. Please familiarize yourself with Vision as an important tool to
assist in your learning and development.
When a Vision upload deadline is provided please ensure you upload your
work in advance, multiple uploads are accepted and we will assess the most
recent work received.
File format and size:
Unless otherwise stated all work uploaded must be in PDF format.
Zipped files are not encouraged. If we cannot open your work in a
zipped folder then we cannot assess it and so a fail or penalty may be
incurred.
Where possible combine numerous pages as one single PDF.
File size should be no larger than as they will not upload to Vision.

All digital uploaded files must include:
Your full name
Course title and brief name or number
Label based on type of work
E.g.
JaneRichardson-DesignStudio6-Brief1-Technical drawings
*If you are combining multiple files into one PDF, as recommended, please
label this single submission at the end.
