Assets: The library is part of the town offices building, the police and fire department are right
next door as well. The parking lots are all connected. There is many churches in the area and
food places that tend to cater to local places a lot. In Milton there is a High School and
Elementary School. The High School is closer then the Elementary school is but both are too far
to walk to the library. During the summer the High school is a good walk to the library but in the
wintertime it would be too far.
Challenges: The challenges for the Milton Library are that there is not much for kids to do in
the area. There isnt a place for kids or teens to hang out in town. The library is pretty much the
only place for that to happen or the schools.

The program is focus is for people of all ages to connect with a hobby. The hobby for this
program is trading cards. Have the older trading card collectors teach the younger collectors
how to keep their card collections in good condition and what their rarity of each card is.
Statement of need
The need of this program is for older and younger people to connect. The connection will give
the younger people a chance to connect with someone older and maybe learn in the process.
