How the poor little boy became a rich man?

In barangay Busaon, lived a poor little boy and his family near the seaside. Every
morning they gathered sea shells to sell it to their rich neighbour. In every one smooth
cellophane of seashells cost a 15 pesos money. The family will spend the money for their 1 day
expenses. A 1 tablespoon per 1 member of the family in every meal is enough to them if they
wanted to eat 3 times a day like the normal people do. A poor little boy, Nelson always strives
hard to help his family against the situation they have. Instead of extending his all time at the
shore fishing; Nelson also attended school for his future.
He attended classes during daytime then spend 5 hours at the sea at night. One night,
when he threw his net upon the deep ocean, he caught a baby shark and this baby shark begs
on him Please do not catch me. Bring me back to the water and I promise to give you a
prosperous life. The shark cried.
Baby shark, my family needs money for our food. By that, I cant bring you back to the water.
Nelson explains.
By his great surprise the shark offered him a big black pearl. Take this pearl, if it is not still
enough then Ill give you what you want. The shark said.
Baby shark, I am grateful of the black pearl yet all I wanted is you. Your meat can give us more
money than the black pearl. People wanted your meat to eat. Nelson replied.
Nelson, I am begging you to save my life. I still want to see my mother and father because I still
wanted to live with them. The shark said while giving to the poor little boy the pearl, gold rings
and diamond.
Like what Ive said, I need you a lot baby shark. Im sorry if I will take your life, my family needs
you because you can bring a large amount of money than gold rings, pearls and diamond.
Nelson said then took the shark and sell it without any regrets of gold rings and pearls. Along
his way home with food in his hand, he met a strong beggar.
Son, give me some money. Beggar said.
Sorry mister, the money I do have is only for my family. He answered
The beggar murmured but Nelson was so firmed.
You can work mister for you to have money for food. Nelson said while leaving the beggar.
In school, he always listen to the teacher and follows to the rules and regulations.
Without his parent knowledge, he already graduated elementary. Nelson continues his fishing
job at night. Instead of fishes, he got seashells then a mermaid float up.
Nelson, throw back the seashells to the shore for I will give you a bag of diamonds. The
mermaid offers.
Im sorry beautiful mermaid these seashells are for my family so I cant throw it back in the
water. Nelson answered then went back to the seaside to sell the seashells. On his way home
with a bag of food on his hand, he met a street child. The street child doesnt speak to him nor
open his palm to ask money from Nelson.
Hello child, are you hungry and cold? Nelson asked but the child never said a words, he just
nod 3 times and bow down his head to the dirty road.
Ok Ill give you my food for tomorrow. Sorry because I only have 1 tablespoon of rice and 1
pinch of salted dried fish for my breakfast. Now take it. Nelson offered his food to the street
kid that night and went home happily that he had helped someone.
Nelson continues his study and without his parents knowledge, he graduated high
school already. Young Nelson is now working at the port where he carried packages and
baggage of passenger to the ship. One time, the captain of the ship spotted him and by that he
was being called.
Nelson, would you like to study college? the captain asked.
Yes captain. His short exited answer.
Then, marry my daughter by tomorrow and you can study in college with free charges. The
captain offered.
Nelson has shocked Thank you but I can still go to college without even marrying your
daughter captain. Nelson disagreed. Im sorry captain. He added and went back to carry
baggage once more.
Indeed, Benito went to college taking up the course marine engineer. After 5 years of
striving he is now about to graduate with his course without his parents knowledge.
Unfortunately, when Benito was about to surprise his parent about his success, he found out
that his mother was confined to the hospital because of the severe tuberculosis.
Ma, I have something to tell you. He begun to speak.
What is that son? his mother.
Ma, today is my graduation for I will about to become a marine engineer. He explained.
Seeing his mothers eyes, he can tell that shes very happy.
I am so proud of you my son! the words from his mother who is trying to not lie down on
bed.
Mother, I cant attend without you. Nelson.
I am always with you like the God always at your side in your journey. You have your papa to
escort you. She said.
I shall have much graduation to be attended but 1 mother to take good care of. Nelson was
begun to cry.
My son. His mother smiled. I am very proud of you, now go and Ill be right there after you
and your father. She added.
Nelson, hearing those words was very happy. His family went to his graduation ceremony and
he graduated as the mania cumlaude. He took his speech with his parents on his side at the
stage for he attributed thanks for them as they were his inspiration to his pitiful journey.
For one last time when he went to the shore for fishing, there is a baby shark look at
him. Mr, Ill give you pearls and gold rings if you return me back to the water. Shark offered
him.
I will not take your offerings. The sea only offered fishes for us. Nelson replied.
Not much far from him are fishermen in which other shark offered them with the same
extreme offerings. He has seen that the fishermen took the offerings from the baby shark for
their freedom. Nelson went to the deepest part of the ocean and tries not to catch fish but to
meditate in just little time. While he was thinking which company to accept, there the beautiful
mermaid float up then said to him. Mr, dont bother to work. I have here in deep ocean the
enchanting pearls and diamonds. Ill give you a sack of these. Mermaid said calmly but for the
second time, Nelson rejected her offer.
Beautiful mermaid in this ocean, you had offered me once a bag of diamonds but Ill rejected
it. And for the second time you offered me a sack of pearls and diamonds. The second offering
is higher but I choose still to work and to not accept your gift. Thank you. Nelson said then
went back to the seaside. He heard that all the fishermen who took pearls and gold rings to the
ocean were caught by the policemen and have 1 month of community cleaning.
By that time, he chooses to work in the small company of ships in the Philippines.
Why did you choose this small company Sir rather than choosing the well-known? the
interviewer asked.
Because well-known companies are already up to its peak and theres no need for help.
Nelson answered shortly.
Instead of being a marine engineer, he choose to become the CEO of the ship company and
done his best for plans, investments and action to innovate the ship into a better one. 15 years
past and it became as he wanted.
After his entire and exhausted work in years, the owner wants to see him; he was old
and sick man with a beautiful girl to his left side wearing a nurse uniform guiding him along the
way.
I am thankful to have you in my company. You turned it as one of the most great ship company
across-the-board. The owner said.
Its my pleasure Sir. He answered looking to him with a glance at his left.
I am too old and having only one daughter makes me worry about the ship company for I may
even know if she can handle this very well. The old man tells.
And what may be your plan Sir? Nelson asked
I planned to make you as my son-in-law. The owner started.
Nelson remembered the same scenario before that the captain offers his daughter for him to
study college and that made him refused again.
No Sir, I may marry myself to your company but not to your daughter. He stated much firmed
while having a deep and intense look to the nurse staring at him with a weary and
unpredictable shy and teary looked.
Before the owner answers, he speaks again. Because I wanted to marry the hardworking
woman in your left. Nelson said referring to the nurse.
To his great surprised, the owner laughed. That woman in my left is my only one daughter. Yes
I have just said it. You will marry her but not because of my own will but because you love her.
The owner gives the hand of his beautiful daughter to his company CEO, Mr. Nelson Villanueva.
By that day, Nelson and his wife Precious run the company very well with the help of the family
of Nelson, their workers together with the strong man Andrew who was the beggar in the
street before whom Nelson suggested him to find a job and to Precious Ship Company he was
being hired by Nelson.
During that day, Nelson build a charity house in which street child and orphaned kids
will no longer been hungry and cold. By that time, he offered scholarship for the students and
always helps the needy. Starting that time, Nelson became rich and richer that he could eat all
he wanted and no more for the 1 tablespoon rice and viand. His parent was settled and
together with his wife, precious; they lived happily ever after and his named made a history in
the entire world.

Moral Lesson: Work hard for the future; never take the fortunate and easy way of
winning. Let it done with sweat and time.
 The 2 Dogs and Their Selfish Owner

Everyday the owner of the 2 dogs, Crissa and Coby asks God to make her a thin and sexy lady.
Her mother always serves her food upstairs for her. She always heard barks from her dogs
downstairs asking food from her but she always snob the dogs barked. She is Mellona Cruz, she
has a curly hair, fair skin and a chubby physique. Her dream in life is to become a sexy lady to
have a man love and marry her. One day when she got home with packs of biscuits and breads,
her dogs run towards her.
Aw! Aw! Mellona give us food, were very hungry. The dogs beg.
No, if you are hungry then how about me? Mellona said then leave the dogs who were still
barking but the dogs followed.
Please Mellona, give us food for you to become sexy. Crissa said.
Please do not make me guilty of do not giving you a food. Go! Ask mom for that! Mellona got
angry and throw the bread and biscuits to trash can instead by giving it to her hungry dogs.
Coby lets get rid of that garbage can! Crissa said to Coby with saliva in her mouth.
Yahoo!! Coby replied while running towards the garbage can.
Mom< I have a visitor this night, my night and shining armour will come. Mellona is
informing her mother when she arrived to the kitchen where her mother is cooking.
Ok dear, Ill prepare delicious food for him. Go upstairs and makeover yourself. Mellonas
mother.
Sure mom. Mellonas short reply.
The dogs heard the conversation and just continued eating the biscuits and loaf of breads in
the big trashcan where all garbage is scattering in their front yard. When the young boy arrived,
he complained about the dirty trash at the front of his vision.
Mellona, what a bad odor creates by these scattered trash! Alfred said.
Oh.. she replied and thought of the dogs. The dogs, Crissa and Coby! Ill should throw you
away! She thought.
The boy refuses to enter the house. Ill rather back home and sleep. The young Alfred said
and go.
Alfred! Mellona called him but he never looked back.
When Alfred was out of her sight, she called her dogs bringing plates of food on his hand.
Coby, Crissa..? she called sweetly.
Coby, Mellona is now sharing her food. Crissa said to Coby.
Oh, what she had eaten that she will going to give us food right now? Coby got out under the
couch.
Lets go! Crissa.
When the 2 dogs arrived to the feet of the young lady, Mellona got the wood hidden behind
her back then beat the dogs. She punished the 2 dogs by scattering the trashes that made
Alfred go. Crissa and Coby found theirself out from the house,even in their owners yard. Their
body are full of bruises and stains. They were so shocked seeing their owner bringing a kettle of
hot water and about to pour towards their furry body.
Coby run! Srissa shouted as her foot almost cracked by her tremendous movement.
Yes, this is the only thing to do. Coby replied innocently.
 The house was empty and no dogs will barked every day and night. Mellona is eating her
food all alone. Months past and she became fat and fatter. No boys will greet and love her
specially Alfred. She remembered her dogs. Give us food for you to become sexy. Mellona
became hopeless and guilty. She prayed to God to forgive her all sins done to her 2 dogs.
Starting that day, she only eat the of her food while offering her 3 remaining s of food to
the dogs outside the street. Then Mellona cried. Im sorry my 2 little dogs, Crissa and Coby. I
know I am too harsh. I am very sorry.
Crissa and Coby heard their owners apology but they never went out to the hole where they
were living for now. The owner does not aware that his 2 dogs were the only living who eaten
all the food she left to the street.
One night when Mellona was not fetched by her dad from school, she went back
walking all alone the street when the 2 fool dogs bark and running towards her to eat her meat.
Aw! Aw! dog 1 said.
Go! Well eat her feet! dog 2 replied.
Mellona screamed for help. Help! Help! Someone help me! she shouted while seeing the 2
dogs near to her while she is standing under the street light with her eyes torridly closed.
Seconds after, she heard some groaned and moaned of the 2 fool dogs. As she opened her
eyes, she was surprise seeing Crissa and Coby beat the 2 fool dogs running away with fear. She
hugged her dogs for they saved her life.
Thank you Crissa, thank you Coby. With a tear on her eyes.
Its ok Mellona as long as you already renew yourself. The 2 dogs said.
Thank you. She said with asmile on his cheek.
Then, a familiar car arrived and that was her father. Are you ok? Im sorry that I am late
sweetie. Now come inside. Her father said.
Dad, take these 1 dogs back home. She said to her dad referring to Crissa and Coby happily.
By that time, Mellona always offers food to her 2 dogs. Years later she became sexy and
healthy lady. She got Alfred back knowing that she already changes her attitude.

Moral Lesson: Always share your food to others even if you are hungry.
