VI. Mission
During our occular visit last November 13,2017 in Borawan Island, Padre Burgos
Quezon Province. We conduct an interview, an observation to the improvement of
Borawan today compared last year. Based on our experienced and observation lodging
room, facilities, man power are some of the problems of Borawan Island.
Lodging room because they only have Nipa Hut for eating purposes only and tent
that the tourists need to rent for them to use for sleeping purposes. The aim of planning
and developing a lodging room in the island is to give them better facilities, great
ambiance, comfortable feeling and improvement to this area.
Lack of facilities especially the comfort room that they have two in station 1 and
the food store their goods are too expensive that tourists prefer to bring their own food
to less the expenses
The man power they only have 1 life guard and 2 security guards for 3 stations.
The security personnel are not enough to secure the safety of the tourist especially
during peak season. They need to add and train more staff to handle the safety and
security of everyone.
These are the problems that can affect the capabilities of the island and also the
tourists who visit the island.
Borawan Beach is probably promoting the Island but at the same time preserving
the ecological balance, biodiversity of the place and sustainable quality of living of the
people in Padre Burgos. Borawan is situated within lush mountains and rocky cliffs
overlooking the Tayabas Bay in the Sibuyan Sea. Locals of Padre Burgos pride
themselves of having Boracay and Palawan in one place thus the name Borawan.

range with a terrain overlooking China Sea.Ideal also for mountain climbing and

Burawan, Escalero Beach and Lipata cave. The island is also paradise for animals and
sea creatures, especially sea turtle "Pawikan" where these islands of Padre Burgos is
