    Promoter & Artist agreement

    This agreement was made on the 5th of December 2017 between Discover
    Promoters and the well-established band Dukes.

    Scope of agreement
    Artist is hiring the promoter to assist in booking a venue for a live show,
    providing accommodation and promoting the event.

    Event
    Location: Dundee
    Venue: Church
    Date: 11/3/18
    Open doors at: 7.30pm
    Finish set at: 9:00pm
    Soundcheck at: 6:00pm
    Ticket price online/at the door: 5/7

    Artist Obligation
    -To ensure the promoter knows what equipment is needed for the event
    within 2 weeks of signing this agreement
    -The artist should show up on time for soundcheck
    -The Band will promote the event on their social media pages
    - The Band will let the promoter know the rider required for the event
    within 2 weeks of signing this agreement

    Promoter Obligations
    -The Promoter must provide accommodation for 4 band members, 3
    crew members
    -Promoter will arrange transportation for all crew and equipment, Artist
    is not liable for costs for travel
    -The Promoter will provide refreshments and a rider for the event
    -The Promoter should publicize the event and band by arranging
    appearances for the Band on radio, posters, online posts and ensuring

    the venue is promoting the event, Artist is not liable for costs for
    promotional activities
    -Promoter must ensure safety for the audience and the band is in place
    -The Promoter will pay for all P.A system and what technical equipment
    the Band require

    Cancellation
    -A deposit payment from the artist of 150 in-case of cancellation within
    5days prior to the show.
    -If there is no cancelation then the artist will receive the deposit in full
    back.

    Payments & Fees


    - The Band will receive a guaranteed upfront payment prior to the live
    event commencing of 100
    -The artist will receive 65% of ticket sales and the promoter will receive
    35% as this is a well-established band, the cut is higher than average.
    -If during the event any music equipment is broken, the charges will be
    taking out of the ticket sales prior to being split between artist and
    promoter

    Restrictions
    -Venue capacity is 250 therefore only 100 tickets to be sold online and
    150 on the door.
    -No photos or videos to be taken or shared online of the band unless
    negotiated prior to event

    Termination
    -The Band or the Promoter have the right to terminate the contract at
    any time due to breach of any of the above stated
