    The sales area is the combination of a distribution chain (a sales organization and a
    distribution channel) and a division. Since divisions are not actively used in SAP Retail, however,
    sales areas are of little significance here and can largely be seen as synonymous with distribution
    chains.

    The MRP controller is a person or a group of persons responsible for monitoring material
    availability. Without MRP controller you can't take the MRP run.

    FLOATS(OMDC)
    Floats provide information on the slack time available for individual activities. You can use the
    floats calculated during scheduling in capacity levelling for example, to shift activities between the
    earliest and latest dates or to extend the duration.
    PRODUCTION SCHEDULER (OPJ9)

    Production Scheduler is the scheduler responsible for a material in production


    activity control.
