    INSTRUCTIONS FOR CANDIDATES

    Instructions are as under:

    1. The candidates possessing educational qualifications and fulfilling the conditions as mentioned in
    the eligibility criteria should apply online on the prescribed application form available on the
    website: www.duet.edu.pk

    2. The application forms may be printed and sent along with the educational testimonials to the office
    of undersigned through courier/postal service.

    3. The candidate has to make payment of Rs. 2,500/- through Bank Deposit Slip of Sindh Bank
    Limited, Jamsheed Quarter Branch, Karachi against the Account Number PK67 Sindh
    0003233348946100 having the Title of Account Dawood University of Engineering and
    Technology, Karachi.

    4. Maximum age limits are 50 years for Professor, 45 years for Associate Professor, 40 years for
    Assistant Professor, 35 years for Lecturer and 30 years for Junior Lecturer/Lab Engineer/Studio
    Architect.

    5. Age relaxation shall be given according to the prescribed rules.

    6. Separate application form shall be submitted for each position along with the separate Sindh Bank
    Deposit Slip of Rs. 2,500/-.

    7. Candidates who are already serving in Government/Semi Government and autonomous bodies
    should apply through proper channel accompanied by NOC from the employer.

    8. Registration with Pakistan Engineering Council as Registered/Professional Engineer and Pakistan


    Council of Architects and Town Planners as Registered/Professional Architect and Town Planner
    are mandatary, if applicable.

    9. The recruitment against the faculty position(s) mentioned in the advertisement shall be made
    strictly subject to availability of the position(s).

    10. Application(s) received after due date shall not be entertained.

    11. Only short listed candidates will be called for written test/interview.

    12. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing at the written test/interview.

    13. The University reserves the right to delete any position(s) partially and/or wholly.

    14. Attested photocopies of educational documents from Matric to onwards, photo copy of CNIC, 04
    recent passport size photographs, photo copies of domicile and PRC must be attached with the
    application form, else scrutiny of application form will be kept in abeyance.

    15. 01 set of research publications, where applicable, must be provided in binded/perforated form, else
    the application form shall not be entertained. Further, the research publications on CD/DVD shall
    also be submitted along with the application form.
    16. Candidates who have completed qualifying/terminal degree after the closing date his/her
    application form shall not be considered.

    17. The submission of Sindh Bank Deposit Slip of Rs. 2,500/- along with the application form is
    mandatary.

    18. The hand written application form shall not be entertained.

    19. The candidate for the post of Lecturer should submit the result of NTS GAT (General) within ten
    (10) days of announcement of result to the undersigned. The aforementioned test will be held on
    14th January, 2018 (as per the schedule announced on the website of NTS).

    20. If the candidate has already qualified the NTS GAT (General), he/she will submit the valid result
    of said test along with the application form within the due date.

    21. The complete application forms in all respects should reach undersigned on or before 11th
    December, 2017.
