Pronoun adalah kata yang digunakan untuk
menggantikan kata benda. Bisa berupa orang, benda,
hewan, tempat atau sesuatu yang abstrak.

Apa itu Subjek dan Objek


Subjek adalah kata yang berfungsi sebagai pelaku.
Terletak di depan kata kerja (verb) atau to be (is/am/are)
Objek adalah kata yang dikenai pekerjaan
Terletak dibelakang kata kerja (verb) atau dibelakang kata
depan (preposition) (to, for, with, from, in, near, after, etc.)
Example:

are happy family.

DO/DOES dapat berperan sebagai kata kerja


bantu, sehingga tidak perlu diterjemahkan secara pasti
Do dapat digunakan untuk subjek I, YOU, THEY, WE
Does dapat digunakan untuk subjek HE, SHE, IT
Dalam kalimat tanya (interrogative), do/does bisa
diletakkan didepan subjek.
Contoh:

3. Do they eat in the kitchen?

Reading Section
I am at boarding school, but my friends are not at
boarding school. They often go to the field to play
football. In my boarding school I always study English. I
am very happy. I always study English in my room. In
that place I read English stories. Sometimes I also read
English magazines and English newspapers. After
reading books, magazines, or newspapers, I usually write
new vocabularies on my notebook. I memorize those
vocabularies and practice. In my room I often speak
English with my friends.

CAN dalam pembahasan ini dapat diartikan


kemampuan, kesanggupan atau terjemah bebasnya
bisa berarti BISA. CAN dapat masuk kesemua subjek.
Maka, apabila terdapat pertanyaan yang diawali
dengan CAN, bisa dijawab dengan YES/NO.
