The best age to travel alone is at 16 because at that age people are more responsible.

There isn't adequate age to dance, since each body and each person are different.

The best age to learn a new language is at age 5, the older we are, the harder it will be for us.

When I was 20 I got my first job, I remember that I was still studying at university. One obstacle

was that at first they didn't have full confidence in my ability to solve problems, so they preferred

the support of a staff with more experience in the topic. These inconveniences over time were

resolved.

This transition was important to me because this allowed me to enrich my knowledge, get

experience and develop myself in the professional field, as well as learn about programs used to

continuously improve the quality of products offered by the organization.

Goal Check 8:

Positive

Being in transition is a wonderful opportunity for growth.

Another reason is because we need a change in our lives.

We need new purposes to achieve a great change in our lives.

Transitions are an opportunity to begin practicing new habits and ways of interacting with
others.

Negative

A long term you feel frustrated and empty because you haven't done anything important in your
life.

You don't have the possibility to improve and grow as a person.

Transitions are hard because they can shake your sense of identity.

UNIT 7

Goal Check 9:

Alpaca clothes are made from the fleece of the first shearing of alpaca, which is supremely soft,
such as sweaters, hats, coats, scarves and blankets. Arequipa is where many of the products are
manufactured and if you are passing through, this will be the best place to buy alpaca products.

In the automotive world in Peru, we have luxury brands like Audi that offers the possibility to
choose motorization, color, materials, styles and finishes made by customers. This car brand is
imported from the country of Germany.

About jewelry made in Peru is that they always go above and beyond the norm with their
materials, such as using 95% silver in all their jewelry, ensuring each piece will not only look
great in the moment but will have the durability to last a lifetime. Another great aspect of
Peruvian jewelry is the fact it is all handmade, meaning each piece is made by a person with a
heartbeat.
Goal Check 10:

I only need to eat protein, fruits and vegetables to get the energy, vitamins and minerals that I
need to survive. I also need to drink lots of liquids to stay alive, as well as some clothes (just
what I need to remain comfortable and appropriately dressed) and hygiene products.

Some luxury items that I would want to have are: a new car, a big house, name-brand clothes,
expensive shoes, fancy foods and drinks.

Goal Check 11:

A: Do you think people's lives are improved by fame?

B: It depends. Some people don't have enough fame and they are happies, but their lives can
definitely be improved by having more fame, such as having a lot of money and they can to
travel to any part of the world.

A: What about other people?

B: Well, when you have enough fame, I think your life can be improved by good health.

A: Interesting! Is your good health improving your life?

B: Sure. If we have good health, we can enjoy life and learn new things.

A: I see what you mean. For me, thought, my life would be improved by having a big house

B: Ok, but a big house cost money. Maybe you should think about getting a job first.
Goal Check 12:

Most perfume ads show the female body as an object of beauty and desire. This has been a

tool used by advertisers to entice, shock, and sell their products to consumers and this tactic

seems to be effective today.

This is what the industry sells to us, a scent that does not distinguish our beauty but corrupts

our sexuality, and that repulsive truth is certainly a fragrance with no allure.

UNIT 8
Goal Check 13:

- If climate change continues, coastal cities will be flooded.

- The glaciers will disappear over the next several years if climate change continues.

- If the emission of CO2 continues at this rate, the climate will be destroyed.

- The human population growth will cause a global crisis in 2030 with food, energy and water

shortages.

- The amount of fresh water available per inhabitant will decrease dramatically if the

population continues to increase.

- If we unplug the power cords of our electrical gadgets, we will save energy.

- If we continue to misuse of non-renewable energies, this will cause a greenhouse effect on

our planet.
Goal Check 14:

The creation of these laws will help to avoid overfishing by setting prudent limits, so we will

protect some stocks of fish.

These laws will allow over-fishing to take place in a more responsible manner, maintaining

greater control over the number of fish caught.

If the state doesnt create laws to end overfishing, species such as "jurel" will be extinct affecting

the ecosystem of the ocean and the inhabitants of coastal countries.

Goal Check 15:

In every zoo there are too many monkey and they are a common animal in our planet and they

have some special characters. I believe the most different is monkey is very beautifully. Then,

they have a strong brain, so they are smarter. They can do many things that other animals are

not able to do, like use the tools. Whats more, they are thin and acute, therefore they quickly

climb the trees. Maybe because of we have the same ancestor with monkey we communicate

very well.

Goal Check 16:

The most important problem to solve is global warming:

If we plant more trees, greenhouse gases will be reduced.

We will have less pollution, if we practice the recycle.

If we use solar panels, we will reduce the use of electric power.
