I. Objectives

At the end of the lesson, 100% of the students will be able to:

a. Determine the types of conflict being used in a given situation with 98% accuracy.
b. Define the conflict with own understanding with 98% accuracy.
c. Create own situation or scenario according to each types of conflict with 98% accuracy.

IV. Procedure

A. Classroom Routine
1. Arrangement of chairs
2. Greetings
3. Prayer
4. Checking of attendance

B. Learning stage
1. Activity
a. The teacher will group the class into 10 groups with 5 members each.
b. Each group will be given different stories and they will be asked to identify the
conflict and classify according to its types.
c. Every group should have one representative to present their works.

2. Analysis
a. The teacher will ask the students about their own definition of conflict.

3. Abstraction

Four types of Conflict

a. Person vs. Person


- A type of conflict where one character may struggle against another.
b. Person vs. Himself
- A type of conflict occurs within the character, between opposing
tendencies in individual make-up.
c. Person vs. nature
- A type of conflict where a character may struggle against nature.
d. Person vs. Society
- Type of conflict may occur between a person and the forces of society.

4. Application
a. The teacher will ask the students to give their personal experiences of conflict
according to each type in a form of oral recitation.

4. Officer Bato clashes with Davao society at the same time he opposes his own
countrys imperialism.
5. Liza is having conflict with her parents because of school problem.
