Introduction
This document contains the F.8L Falco construction drawings. This is a change from how we have distributed
the Falco drawings in the past. With the cost of printing and shipping and with the internet it makes sense to
distribute the drawings in digital format only.
At this point, we are just starting to put all of this together in a single pdf document.
We plan to have links in the document so you can click on things and jump to a drawing.
The result is that you can search the text of the CAD files, which is very convenient and useful.
We ask that all Falco builders to keep a watch on what we are doing. Keep an eye out for any errors, and

The wires for the two intercom bypass switches are reversed. As a result,
the system will be in "bypass" when the switch is in the "normal" position,
and vice versa. If already wired, the simplest solution is to turn the
switches over so that the tap is on the top of the switch. If not wired, then
the wiring should be reversed, that is the wires to the upper poles put on
the bottom, and vice versa. Note that the center poles are the common
poles and are not affected.

Revision B
In Drawing No. 116-13 Instrument Circuit,
the Oil Pressure gauge and sender are now
completely different. On the gauge, connect
E153B-22 to the SEND terminal. The
pressure transducer is now a simpler sender
device with a single screw terminal. Connect
E153A-22 to this terminal. The sender is
grounded to the engine with the metal hose,
but it may also be grounded with a separate
wire. Wire E169A and B now become spare
wires.
F196-22 is supplied as
20AWG wire in kit

The wires for the autopilot servo are possibly reversed. As such, the
autopilot will attempt the turn the airplane to the left when it should be

SCALE 1/10 C/L or stretch piano wire or nylon shing line through small
holes at Sta. 1 and Sta. 13.
5. As an alternative to pipe supports, jig beam may be supported
by a post in the nose gear bay at forward end and a "two by four"
to each side of lower longerons at aft end. Attach with bolts or
screws for removal.
6. The jig will require some modication between Sta. 12 & 13 to
cut ends of "one by two's" to t inside longerons clear radius in the plywood in the forward n spar and for clearance
with the channel-nuts for the rudder hinges. To prepare for these
changes, it is best to make the interior of the jig of solid wood.
