Purpose of this assignment


This assignment gives learners the opportunity to formulate their long-term business strategy Using an
agreed format. Learner will be able to Formulate and create new long-term business strategy, Identify
the factors that contribute to the process of business strategy formulation.

Scenario
You are given the job as Islamabad regional manager to formulate a business strategy to set up
restaurants for a fast food chain. This fast food chain has plans to introduce its brand and set up 10 to
20 restaurants in area of Rawalpindi and Islamabad. This fast food chain not only looking to offer
competition to existing food chains but also want to create a strong impact for a long time loyal
customer base. Your job is to research and formulate a business strategy which will help this business
to find better locations and plans to enter in Islamabad market. Your strategy should also provide a
road map for business growth to meet organizational goals.
