Product information Ferrosid 7001/1

Ferrosid 7001/1 is used in combination with Ferrophos iron phosphate solutions for the si-
multaneous cleaning and phosphate coating of metal surfaces.
Ferrosid 7001/1 contains highly effective tensides which improve the
cleaning efficiency of a traditional phosphating solution substantially.
Ferrosid 7001/1 is suitable for spray and immersion application. Included
tensides comply with the new EU regulation on detergents.

Characteristics Dosage Ferrosid 7001/1 is admixed to the iron phosphate


solution at a concentration of 2 - 10 g/l (also refer to
section Maintaining concentration)

Density approx. 1.0 g/ml

The way the product is strongly influenced by the material and the composi-
tion of the surface. In individual cases. the optimal operating parameters
may vary from the given standard parameters.

Safety precautions Please observe the usual safety precautions for handling chemical sub-
stances. Classifications according to the statutory regulations for transport,
storage and handling of the product and other product-specific instructions
are included in the EG-safety sheet. Bath solutions, rinse water and concen-
trates must be treated according to the applicable regulations before enter-
ing the sewage system.

Maintaining concentration The dosage to be used depends on the extent of contamination. If the
cleaning effect is inadequate, the concentration should be increased and
tested in increments beginning with about 0,5 g/l. For consistent doses we
recommend using our metering pumps.
