3.0 Project Justification
The Healthy Living Pte. Ltd. has embarked a new project to its enhance supply chain operations. The project is named as Global Supply Chain Management Project (GSCMP) which is involves various department. As the project progressed there are a lot of thing that make the project fails to meeting its high-level for the first two months. Therefor it need a solutions and invoked to get the GSCMP back on schedule and rolled out as a planned.
4.0 Product Characteristics
The GSCM system functions are as stated below: Provides all the common functions that can be found in any typical Supply Chain Management software. Provides business intelligence capabilities in facilitating users to make quicker decision in managing inventory in their own region. Covers transportation management, order management, yard management, labor management and warehouse optimization
5.0 Project Related Deliverables
The project-related deliverables are as follows: (i) Business Case (ii) Project Charter (iii) Project Scope Statement (iv) WBS and WBS Dictionary (v) Project Schedule (vi) Risk Management Plan (vii) Cost Management Plan (viii) HR Management Plan (ix) Quality Management Plan (x) Communications Management Plan (xi) Procurement Management Plan
6.0 Product-Related Deliverables
The deliverables arising from the completion of this system are: (i) User Manual, inclusive of one softcopy available in a CD (ii) D2 (iii) D3 (iv) D4
7.0 Project Success Criteria
1. Capable resources come from suitable organization structure 2. IT infrastructure fulfill requirements of new system 3. Provided approval and signoff 4. Relevant ACL for different type user 5. Implementation of system with GSCMP 6. Cutover to new centralized system
