AN ACT AMENDING PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NO. 1146, AS AMENDED, EXPANDING
AND INCREASING THE COVERAGE AND BENEFITS OF THE GOVERNMENT SERVICE
INSURANCE SYSTEM, INSTITUTING REFORMS THEREIN AND FOR OTHER "(h) Secondary beneficiaries- The dependent parents and, subject to the restrictions

"(j) Contribution- The amount payable to the GSIS by the member and the employer
in accordance with Section 5 of this Act;
"SECTION 1. Title. - The title of this Act shall be: "The Government Service
Insurance System Act of 1997."
"(k) Current Daily Compensation- The actual daily compensation or the actual
monthly compensation divided by the number of working days in the month of
