a. When no more than 25% of the runway surface area within the reported length and width being used is covered by any contaminant, the runway is
considered wet.
b. For wet snow or dry snow use equivalent depth refer to 8.1.2-5-3.
c. For equivalent contaminant depth less than 3 mm, the runway is considered wet.
d. Takeoff and landing is not allowed with contaminant equivalent depth of more than 13 mm.
e. RCCs 0 and 1 may be upgraded to 3 by the airport authorities under certain conditions, in this case wind limitations associated with RCC 3 are appli-
cable.
f. The maximum takeoff and landing wind components include gusts.
