ITINERARY
DAY 1 Welcome to Lima.
After you arrive to Lima, youll enjoy our private transportation to your hotel for an
overnight stay.
DAY 2 Lima Cusco Tours 's Sacred Valley
This morning, transfer back to the Lima airport with our local guide to help you with
your luggage and check-in process for your one-hour flight to Cusco. Once you arrive
to Cusco, a local tour guide will be waiting for you. Youll head straight to the Sacred
Valley to the small town of Pisac, where youll enjoy a street market boasting fine
handcrafts, jewelry workshops and a local bakery with homemade goods.
Afterwards, youll head to the hotel located in the Valley at 9,000 ft. for an overnight
stay.
DAY 3 Chinchero, Maras & Moray
Meet your local expert at the hotel and explore the upper part of the valley in the
towns of MARAS, MORAY, and CHINCHERO. The town of MARAS and its salt pans
offer an impressive, continuous project going back to pre-Inka times, where locals
have been constantly working and developing the salt water spring. Later, head to
the MORAY circular terraces, a site where different micro temperatures were used
to experiment with crops.
At CHINCHERO, well get to know the families aiming to preserve the traditional
weaving methods and techniques going back for centuries. You see how they use
natural sources to color the wool and use unique, traditional textile patterns to create
modern day masterpieces. Afterwards, well drive to HACIENDA LAMBARRI at
HUAYOCARY for lunch, then well stroll through the local museum before we head
back to the hotel for the night.
