Whilst my performance of hypnosis, many of


the subjects undergone through my hypnosis
session came back with a feed back that a
great relaxation has happened in their mind,
after long long years they had a nice sleep,
they had a different way of looking at life and
on. So if I can help people to make their life
good and easy then this knowledge should be
spread in the hands of many so that more
people will be helped to lead a nice beautiful
and easy life.

This course of Hypnosis is based on hypnotic
techniques, which you can use to enhance your
own life as well as helping others to over come
challenges in their life. Here you will learn
simple but highly effective techniques of
Hypnosis.

Just one last word before we start. This book is


complete only along with the video of the
course with me. Means having a copy of this
book doesnt mean that you can learn
Hypnosis and even if you hypnotize some one
without the complete knowledge and if it
happens to create any kind of problems it is
completely your own responsibility.

History of Hypnosis
The history of hypnosis as per my
understanding is older than the appearance of
human being on earth because you can see that
even animals do have the quality of a
hypnotist. A king cobra is highly hypnotic
with its gaze. A rattlesnake diverts the
conscious mind of its prey by rattling its tail.
Most of animals control their own mind from
the depth of its own subconscious so that its
prey feel that there is danger in the
surrounding where it is wandering around.
Now if we come back to documentations of
human being. Its is already written in ancient
Indian scriptures about Hypnosis which we
call Sammohan but unfortunately as usual the
knowledge was hidden with very few people
and was not passed to others. Dr. Richard
Bandler one of the renowned Hypnotist was
invited to India to teach Hypnosis and he
surprised of this invitation and said: are you
kidding? You want to take hypnosis course in
that land where it took birth.

Well if you look through the ancient Indian
scriptures you can see at many places
Hypnosis has been used not even to make
others do what they want but even to win
wars. One such story is the killing of
Bhasmasuran by Mohini which is a technique
called overcoming the critical factor and
leading. Many of the India magicians used
hypnosis to create illusions from ages.

What is Hypnosis?
(My understanding)

Any verbal or non-verbal activity or event


deliberately created to induces a desirable
emotional response; action, trance or sleep is
Hypnosis.
If you look around you can see almost
everything and every happening around you
induces some kind of emotional shift in your
mind knowingly or unknowingly which means
everything and every happening in this world
has a hypnotic power with in.

Now simply imagine that you are holding a


ripe yellow lemon in your hand and as you cut
the lemon into half it sprays out its sweet and
sour juice and gives out its fragrance and you
slowly squeeze the juice of one half of the
lemon into your wide open mouth and feel the
juice rushing into your mouth and enjoy the
taste hmmmmmmm

Well come out of the imagination out and you


can notice that your mouth is filled with saliva
isnt it? This is what is hypnosis. Me or the

lemon you were imagining didnt told you to
salivate at all still you did. So here the lemon
is hypnotic.

Any movie that makes you laugh, cry, sad,


mad is hypnotic. Almost every one in the
world starts dancing or at least move their
body hearing the music of Michael Jackson.
But just give it a look did MJ ask you to do
so? isnt that hypnotical.

Actually in reality even you are already a


hypnotist unknowingly. Think about an event
in which you have controlled or made some
one do what you wanted by your command.
For e.g. you say shhhhhhhhhhhhh to some one
who is talking loud and that person keep quit
is the simplest form of hypnosis

The only difference between a normal person


who is unknowingly a hypnotist and a learned
hypnotist is that the learned hypnotist
knowingly makes people do what he or she
wants in each and every second as and when
he or she wants to, using few more hypnotic
techniques. So you are here to get polished and
make your life easier using some effective

covertly.
As you relished knowing what is Hypnosis

How does so called phenomena
Hypnosis happens

As you already know that everything starts


from mind and ends in mind, also you know
whatever your mind or others mind perceives
you act or dont act or react. So if your mind is
convinced or persuaded to accept some
information your mind will make your body
do the desired action

One more thing you already know is that you


have two-mind conscious and subconscious
mind

Conscious mind is the one which take care of


reasoning any information and is also used to
protect yourself which we also call reflex
action

Subconscious mind considered to be


responsible for creativity, imagination,
visualization, day dreaming etc

So here comes the gist of hypnosis: The


phenomena Hypnosis happens when

1.The conscious mind is made to engage in
some activity by which the subconscious mind
becomes ready to accept a command which
triggers the conscious mind to be under the
control of subconscious mind

2.The conscious mind is given a sudden shock


where by the subconscious mind becomes
active to obey the command or suggestions

3.Theconscious mind itself is manipulated or


made to agree to obey the command or
suggestions

4.When the conscious mind is in trance the


subconscious mind get read to obey almost
every suggestions and commands

In short all you have to do is by pass the


critical factor, which is the conscious mind,
and suggest the subconscious mind what has to
be done.

Can any one be Hypnotized

The answer is Yes

Every one is Hypnotizable because every one


in this world is suggestible in one-way or the
other. Starting from Name to the Character
and Nature and Behavior of person is all
because of the suggestions that person has
gathered knowingly or unknowingly from the
surroundings and the people around.

So when you have the confidence, knowledge,


experience and most of all the willingness of
the subject or you by pass the critical factor
which is the conscious mind of the subject
with out his or her knowledge using the right
technique you can hypnotize any one

Self Hypnosis

Sit straight in a very comfortable position on a


chair on floor over a carpet or sheet that you
are not directly in contact with the ground.
Make sure your dress or position doesnt
disturb you. Take deep breath in and breath
out as slow as possible feel that every breath
you take in makes you feel relax and the
breath you take let all the tensions off your
body and mind. Now allow yourself to
imagine a magic blanket is spreading by itself
from your legs towards your head very very
slowly and this blanket is having a power of
relaxing you as it spreads on as you imagine
very slowly feeling the softness the warmth of
this magic blanket spreading on your legs
begins to relax your toes your calf muscles
your lap your genital your abdomen your
stomach your arms your biceps as your chest
get relaxed when the blanket reaches your
neck to relax the your chin your cheeks your
nose get relaxed with the soothing feel of the
magic blanket and it covers you completely
making your brain relaxed means your mind is
now completely relaxed to be so powerful to

learn and accept all the suggestions which can
enhance your life and make it easy.

Now you are in a state of mind with good


awareness and relaxed state of mind that what
ever you suggest will be recorded into your
subconscious mind, which will reflect, back to
your conscious mind to take actions to
enhance your life.

Caution: Always suggest the end result

For eg. If you want to loose weight feel how


you will feel when you are slim and trim how
you will feel proud how you will walk talk
what will be your clothes how you will look
like when you see yourselves in mirror how
people look at you and say wow see the look
of people you being slim and trim hear.
Rewire your brain as if you are an engineer
that even when you eat what ever you want
you are still slim and trim focus always on the
out come and its effect in you and the world
around you how you will feel in your five
senses what all will be the reaction of the
people around you in every minute details.

Pre-talk before Hypnotizing others

A pre talk about hypnosis is always good to do


before hypnotizing any one. This is when you
educate the subject what is hypnosis and what
is not. Well you need not tell them about
subconscious mind and conscious mind. What
you have to tell is

Hypnosis is just an altered state of mind


where the mind is very focused and relaxed.
And in hypnosis you will experience a great
relaxation of body and mind there by you can
use the higher potential of your mind and body
to achieve desired results. The best things is
that you can go into hypnosis very easily than
any one else because

It is very easy for to be in a state of hypnosis


All you have to do is to allow yourself to
follow the suggestions. Only smart and
intelligent person like you can get hypnotized
You are in a very safe hand that I wont make
you do or say anything which will humiliate
you or reveal your secrets
Once again the best part is you will feel a great
relaxation after hypnosis

Suggestibility test or set piece

At the point we are going to start doing


hypnosis. Even though it is called
suggestibility test, which means you are
testing how suggestible your subject is. There
are lots of methods of which learning one or
two is more than enough.

Ask your subject / subjects to sit straight with


their feet flat on ground. Now take deep breath
in and out slowly and feel the body and mind
relaxed, as they feel relaxed ask them to
extend their hands forward palms facing each
other as show in the picture below

Clasp your fingers tight, as tight as possible

Bend your elbow into a prayer poster

Raise your forefinger pointing the sky

Separate your forefingers one-inch apart and


focus in between the forefingers

As you focus in between the forefingers
imagine that your forefingers are getting
magnetized and now they are two very strong
magnet which means they start attracting each
other very strongly and as forefingers are
strong magnets pulling towards each other
please do not pretend or resist you can feel the
magnetic power increasing on your finger tips
making the fingers come closer and closer yes
thats right the more you resist the more closer
it moves please dont pay attention to your
breath as the finger moves more closer which
you dont have to resist because the more you
want to resist you can feel that its moving
closer and now its about to touch and it
touches each other now
This set piece or test is more or less same as
the previous one. As you did before you ask
your subject to stretch their hand forward
palms facing each other and start clapping
their hands slowly then faster then very fast
and more fast now the moment you say stop
they should keep their palms 6 inches apart
and close their eyes and take deep breath in
and out slowly as they breath in and out
suggest them to imagine that there are two
powerful magnets attached in their palm and

the more they imagine their palms starts
attracted towards each other more and more
now you can see their hands starting to move
towards each other and they come to each
other the more you suggest that their hands are
getting magnetized

Methods of Inducing Hypnosis

1. Progressive relaxation induction


In which hypnosis is done in a very
progressive way by which the subject is put
into trance slowly step by step

2. Rapid Induction
In which hypnosis is induced using certain
technique and the subject is put in trance fast

3. Instant Induction
This is the fastest just one command and the
subject is in trance.

Progressive Induction

This is one of the oldest of inducing hypnosis.


Learn the step-by-step suggestion below and
recite this to the subject to be hypnotized

Ask the subject to sit on a chair and be


comfortable

Now start suggesting:

Take a deep breath in


Slowly breath out and as you continue
breathing in and out slowly allow your eyes to
close.
Continue breath in and out as deep as possible.
Each and every breath in make you FEEL
relaxed and as you breath out FEEL all the
tension of your body is going out of your
body. One more deep breath in make your
mind relaxed and a deep breath out makes all
the tension of your mind go out of your mind.
One more deep breath in makes all your
muscles relaxed and one more breath out
makes all the tensions in your muscles go out.

Now allow yourself to focus on your right toe
feel the relaxation happening in it. As you
focus you can notice that the relaxation is
spreading up to your right leg slowly its
relaxing your right calf muscles your right
knee your thigh your right hips and your right
leg is completely relaxed as you feel the
relaxation happening in your left toe your left
calf muscles are getting relaxed thats right
you feel the relaxation now spreading to your
left knee your left thigh you may or may not
feel a heaviness in your legs its ok and its
normal as you relax more your abdomen the
more you feel relaxed your stomach as you
focus on your chest to relax more and more
relaxation spreads to your shoulder muscles
making your feel more relaxed in your neck
muscles are getting loose limp and relaxed and
more relaxed your neck is now your facial
muscles gets relaxed as your eyes are feeling
more drooping and drowning allow yourself
your head feel going down you might not or
might FEEL your body is heavy your head
your hands your thighs and legs are heavy now
as you go deep into hypnosis now you are in a
deep and deeper hypnotic trance that what ever
I say you will feel, experience and it will be

easy for you to act accordingly as you are now
in a greater trance of hypnosis which is giving
you a great relaxation.

At this moment you can see that your subjects


chin is touching their chest and may see their
one or both of their hands have fallen apart
from their lap to their sides. This is one of the
symptoms that the subject is in deep hypnosis.
Even if you raise one of their hands up and
drop it will go loose and limp and it will fall
on their side. You might even feel that their
hands are heavy. Now you can start giving
suggestion to achieve the desired result

Congrats! You have learnt the first method to


hypnotize any one. With regular practice this
method is one of the best methods to induce
hypnosis in any one you wish

Rapid Induction

There can be situations where you dont have


much time or your subject is more logical,
Rapid induction is more useful.
There are different methods to do Rapid
Induction. Few of the methods follow: -

Handshake Method

Below is the conversation while you do


handshake rapid induction

You: are you right handed or left handed

Subject: Right handed

You: can I borrow your right hand (extending


your right hand towards the subject as if you
want to give a shake hand to the subjects)

Subject: he or she will extend his or her right


hand towards you.

At the point instead of shaking the subjects


hand you hold the wrist of the subject hand
and turn the palm towards the subjects face all

at a sudden gently and you point a spot in the
subjects palm and suggest focusing on that
spot. Your free hand will be touching the back
of the subjects head just above the meeting
point of neck and the skull.

And without giving any chance for your


subject to think you continue saying put all
your focus on the spot and as you focus you
can imagine that your hand is slowly moving
towards your face (you start softly pushing the
subjects hand towards the subjects face) that
means while you are focusing on that spot
your hand starts moving towards your eyes
and as it moves towards your eyes slowly your
eye become unfocused and as you notice that
your eyes are getting unfocused you feel your
eyes are drooping as if you are eyes are getting
heavier and heavier it gets as your eyes are
getting unfocused and the moment I say sleep
you will go into deep hypnotic trance (as you
find the subject is feeling heavy eyes say
sharply) SLEEEEP and give a slight push
forward with your hand on the subjects head
so that his upper body go down to his lap. Be
careful that the subject doesnt fall off the
chair. You need to feel how loose and limp the

subject is before you give the suggestion sleep
so you can avoid the subject falling forward so
drastically. Some subjects go deep very fast
that the command sleep will make them go
very deeper that they wont be in control of
their body so you need to take care of.

Pressing hand method for Rapid Induction

Ask the subject which hand is he, show your


right hand palm facing the sky and suggest the
subject to keep his right hand palm on yours
now ask him to focus deep into your right eye
as he focus deep into your eye suggest him to
push your hand downwards with as much as
force as he can, suggest him to focus more and
push more as he does this suddenly remove
your palm away from his palm and say the
words SLEEP sharply the sudden jerk or shock
when you removed your hand away will by
pass his conscious mind and the command
sleep hits the subconscious mind to make him
fall deep into trance. Once you command sleep
you continue with this suggestion SLEEP
deeper and deeper loose and limp like a rag
doll much deeper you go the deeper you feel

going into great relaxation and much deeper
you feel relaxed you go much deeper into
trance. Do take care of the safety of the
subject. The subject may loose the control of
their body and fall down.

This is very very direct command. This is done


with subjects whom you find very very
suggestible. If any one is doing everything
what you say for eg. If you say sing and he or
she sings without thinking or when you say
raise your hand the subject raises his or hand
at once and also the person who was very fast
in having the experience in suggestible test
means who felt that his or her finger/ palm got
magnetized and had a great experience and
express to you with lots of wonder how it
happened for those subject Instant Induction is
the best

INSTANT INDUCTION

All you have to do is give a hand shake and


jerk the hand a little with a command SLEEP
then continue saying sleep deeper and deeper
loose and limp the more you feel relaxed the
more you go into deeper trance you are going
into deep trance you are in deep trance now
and when ever I say the word sleep or touch
you, you go into twice as much deeper than
now. Isnt that magical? Yes when it works.

This induction works with a person who is just


been in hypnosis or who has been hypnotized
previously by some one else or a person whom
you found to be amazed about you for some
reason who believe in you so much or active in
doing what ever you suggest

SAFETY MEASURES
Very very very important

Before hypnotizing a subject check


whether he or she is not chewing gums, drunk
or under any drugs.
Before hypnotizing a subject DO take care that
there is no sharp or dangerous objects around
and in the ground. Many times the subject
might go so deep that he or she wont have any
control of their body. They might fall on
ground or lean any of the sides just like person
who suddenly become unconscious and hit
those sharp or dangerous objects.

This is a very must when you happen to


hypnotize some in standing position.
Do not hypnotize any one who is taller or
heavier than you in standing position. Because
if they happen to fall down it can be dangerous
for yourself also, as you will prevent them hit
the ground you might have a muscle cramp or
even disc displacement. So always make them
sit comfortably before hypnotizing.

Deepening Hypnosis by fractionation

Deepening of trance is done so the subject


goes into deeper trance for more desirable
results. And one of the methods to deepen the
trance is fractionation.

The subject is suggested to open their eyes and


become awake and after some activity or
discussion or some duration he or she is put to
trance again and is suggested that they will go
twice as deeper than the previous trance.
Again after few suggestions given to get
desired result the subject is asked to be awake
to for a minute or two than again suggested to
be in trance. Well the suggestion is when
ever I say the word sleep or I touch on your
shoulder (or any action like pulling your own
ear or a snap of fingers) you will go into much
deeper trance by this suggestion while the
subject is under trance the subject will go into
trance when you say or do the action which
will make him or her to go to trance

Effect which, you can create using Hypnosis

Amnesia
The subject is suggested that they cant access
their memory

Catalepsy
The subject is suggested that they dont have
access to control their muscles

Positive Hallucination
The subject is hypnotized to see what is not
there

Negative Hallucination
The subject is hypnotized not to see what is
there

Age Regression
The subject is suggested gradually that their
age is decreasing and made to do activities as
if he or she is a 5-year-old baby. By this
sometimes the subject can go to his or her past
life also

Suggestion to De Hypnotize

At the count of five you will wake up with a


relaxed mind, brain and body
1.Slowly deep breath in and breath out and as
you breath in a breath out feel that your body
and mind is completely relaxed
2.One more deep breath in and breath out will
make you feel fresh and fantastic
3.Your mind memory brain and body is
completely under your own control and all the
suggestions given by me other than suggestion
which can enhance your life is completely
taken back that you are completely under your
own control
4.Take slow deep breath in and out and stretch
your hands and body as if your are waking up
from a very deep sleep and you feel that
freshness after have a complete sufficient
sleep
5.Open your eyes slowly feel fresh and
fantastic and marvelous.
