    WHAT IS E-GOVERNANCE

    E-GOVERNANCE refers to the development and enforcement of


    the policies, laws and regulations necessary to support the
    functioning of a knowledge society as well as e-government
    (focus on good governance)

    E-GOVERNMENT refers to the use of information and


    communication technologies by government agencies to
    enhance access to and delivery of government services (focus
    on electronic public services)

    To enhance good governance

    Good governance participatory, consensus oriented, accountable,


    transparent, responsive, effective and efficient, equitable and
    inclusive, and follows the rule of law
