A course fee of Rs. 12,000 per a n n u m shall b e charged to each s tu d e n t e n ro lle d in the
course. In ad d itio n , s tu d e n ts w o u ld be req u ired to pay the fee as a p p lica b le to the
B.A.(Hons.) B usiness Econom ics course at each college.

2. In V & VI sem ester elective pap ers are offered in Finance, M arketing , Econom ics,
Q u a n tita tiv e T echniques a n d Project M a n a g e m e n t & E n tre p re n e u rs h ip areas.
S tu d e n ts are re q u ired to choose 2 elective stream s (each strea m co m p risin g tw o
pap ers). P a p e r (1) of each elective stream shall b e ta u g h t in se m e ste r V a n d p a p e r
(2) o f the elective s tre a m will be ta u g h t in S em ester VI. Elective s tre a m s offered in
a sem este r w o u ld d e p e n d u p o n the n u m b e r of stu d e n ts in terested in en ro llin g for
each specialization. The specialization g ro u p s offered will be the d isc re tio n of the
p a rtic u la r college.

10. Each theory p a p e r shall carry 100 m arks, o u t of w hich 25 m a rk s shall b e reserved
for internal assessm ent. In the internal assessm ent, 20% w e ig h ta g e w ill be g iv en
to atten dan ce, 80% m ark s for assignm en ts/tests/ho use ex a m in a tio n /p ro je ct
presentation. T h e internal assessm ent shall be co n d u c ted once for each s tu d e n t in
each paper. D u rin g su b seq u e n t reappear, essential or for im p ro v e m e n t, the
in tern al assessm ent m ark s shall rem ain u nch an ged .
11. The c o m p u ter p a p e r in V th Sem ester shall also carry 100 m ark s of w h ich 25
m a rk s shall be reserved for internal assessm ent a n d 25 m ark s for p racticals to be
co n d u c ted & ev a lu ated jo in tly by internal a n d external e x a m in e r d u r in g the
sem ester. The rest of the 50 m arks shall com prise of a project to b e e v a lu a te d
th ro u g h a viva voce co n d u c ted by the U niversity.
12. For each theo ry paper, a w ritte n exam ination of three h o u rs d u ra tio n at the e n d
of each sem ester for 75 m ark s an d for co m p u ter p a p e r a practical exam of 2 h o u rs
d u ra tio n a n d a viva voce will be co nd ucted b y the u n iv ersity on th e project
s u b m itte d by the student.
T h e p a p e r of exam ination shall be as follows:
1. In ternal Assessment perform ance is not considered for prom otion purposes: For
the purpose o f passing and promotion o f a student the marks secured by the student in
the internal assessment shall not be considered.
