1 "He brought my soul out of prison that I may praise his name." Psalms 142:7
CAN YOU IMAGINE how terrible it would be to find YOURSELF a prisoner,
LOCKED behind bars where you could not get out!
TO BE BOUND there in darkness and despair, and caged like an animal.
TO KNOW in your heart you were created to be free, unshackled to roam the
good earth in glorious liberty ... but, instead ...
The EVIL ENEMY captured and robbed you of your freedom.
He left you cast down, afflicted, hopeless, and in utter despair!
SUDDENLY!
You see a SHINING LIGHT dispelling the darkness. You have a VISITOR!
HE APPEARED as one having all authority; yet, HE was gracious and his eyes
were full of compassion.
He said, "I have a KEY that OPENS ALL PRISON DOORS."
"I came here for this very purpose: TO BRING DELIVERANCE to the
CAPTIVES."
"TO LOOSE those who are BOUND by the enemy."
"TO DESTROY his work."
"TO SET AT LIBERTY all those that are BOUND." CAN YOU IMAGINE YOUR
REACTION? What tender mercy!
What undeserved grace! TO OFFER LIFE instead of death!
HOPE, like a ray of sunshine, SPRINGS FORTH as HE INSERTS THOSE
PRECIOUS KEYS into the lock. The DOOR SWINGS OPEN!
and HE SAYS TO YOU, "GO FREE."

Chapter 2

2 Six Major Keys

This personal experience would certainly cause us to realize the importance of

KEYS-especially, the KEYS to the KINGDOM.
KEYS signify authority, responsibility, respect, and honor. The possession of
KEYS is evidence of trust. Important rulers always carried KEYS.
There are SIX MAJOR KEYS listed in the Bible. Jesus HOLDS these THREE
KEYS:
1. The KEY of DAVID: Rev. 3:7; Isa. 22:22. 2. The KEY of HELL: Rev. 1:18.
3. The KEY of DEATH: Rev. 1:18.
The Believer HOLDS these THREE KEYS:
4. The KEY of KNOWLEDGE: Luke 11:52,46,47 5. The KEY of BINDING: Matt.
16:19.
6. The KEY of LOOSING: Matt. 18:18.
The THREE KEYS that Believers HOLD are the KEYS to the KINGDOM of GOD.
The gates of HELL CANNOT PREVAIL AGAINST THEM!
The following letter is from Jesus, who holds the KEY of DAVID. The letter
addressed the Philadelphia Church a literal church, but symbolic of the righteous
saints!

Key of David

TO: THE ANGEL OF THE CHURCH IN PHILADELPHIA AND TO: THE

RIGHTEOUS SAINTS
"These things saith HE that is Holy He that is true
He that hath THE KEY OF DAVID
He that OPENETH and NO MAN SHUTTETH and SHUTTETH and NO MAN
OPENETH,"
Rev. 3:7, Is. 22:22.
Greetings,
"I know thy works: behold I have set before thee an OPEN DOOR, and NO MAN
CAN SHUT IT:
Thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my Word, and hast not denied my
name.
Behold I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews and
are not, but do lie, behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet,
and to know that I have LOVED THEE.
Because THOU hast kept the Word of my patience, I also will KEEP THEE from
the HOUR OF TEMPTATION WHICH SHALL COME UPON ALL THE WORLD, to
TRY THEM that DWELL UPON THE EARTH.
BEHOLD I COME QUICKLY, hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy
crown.
HIM that OVERCOMETH will I make a PILLAR in the temple of my God, and HE
shall go no more out, and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the
name of the city of my God, which is NEW JERUSALEM, which cometh down out
of Heaven from my God, and I will write upon him my new name.

KEY OF DAVID
Jesus holds the KEY of DAVID, to OPEN A DOOR no man can close; TO CLOSE
A DOOR no man can open. In this study we are able to glimpse an overall picture
of just how this KEY works.
Jesus is in charge of all our directions. HE OPENS THE DOORS He wants us to
enter, and SHUTS those He does not want us to go in.
You may be wondering just how the HOLY SPIRIT fits into this work since He is
responsible for leading and guiding us into ALL truth.
The Holy Spirit knows the DOORS that are OPENED by the KEY OF DAVID so
He takes over the job of leading us through them.
The following Scripture verses will help us to understand the work of the Key of
David.
"And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira,
which worshiped God, heard us: whose Heart the Lord OPENED, that she
attended unto the things which were spoken of Paul"-Acts 16:14.
The Key of David OPENS ALL DOORS-even the DOOR of a heart
"After this I looked, and behold a DOOR WAS OPENED In Heaven, and the first
voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me, which said,
"Come up hither, and I will SHOW TREE THINGS which must be hereafter"-Rev.
4:1.

HE will OPEN the DOOR of Heaven to SHOW US THINGS.

"Withal praying also for us, that God OPEN unto us a DOOR of UTTERANCE, to
SPEAK the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds."
"That I may make It manifest, as I ought to speak." -Col. 4:3, 4.
He would OPEN unto us a DOOR of UTTERANCE that we may make manifest
what we are supposed to SPEAK for HIM.
"Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the
Scriptures."-Luke 24:45 "Knack and k shell be OPENED unto you"-Malt7:7 He
will OPEN the DOORS we knock on.
"For a GREAT DOOR and EFFECTUAL Is OPENED unto me, and there are
many adversaries" -I Cor. 16:9.
HE OPENED this GREAT DOOR for Paul, that proved an effective one.
"And it came to pass, when they were come into Samaria, that Elisha said, Lord,
open the Eyes of these men, that they may sea And the Lord OPENED THEIR
EYES, and THEY SAW; and, behold, they were in the midst of Samaria."-11
Kings 6:20.
"And when they were come, and had gathered the Church together, they
rehearsed all that God had done with them, and how He had OPENED the
DOOR of FAITH unto the Gentiles"
-Acts 14:27
And, the DOOR of FAITH WAS OPENED unto the Gentiles. This verse shows
that the KEY of DAVID OPENS all important DOORS.

"Furthermore, when I came to Troas to preach Christ's gospel, and a DOOR was
OPENED unto me OF THE LORD."-II Cor. 2:12.
See. He OPENS DOOR after DOOR by the KEY of DAVID.
"And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came: and they that were ready
went in with him unto the marriage: and the DOOR WAS SHUT' -Matt. 25:10.
Here the door is OPENED to "The ready," and SHUT to those who aren't.
"Strive to enter in at the STRAIT GATE: for many, 1 say unto you, will seek to
enter in, and shall not be able.
"When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath SHUT the DOOR, and
ye begin to stand without and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, OPEN
unto us, and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are.
"But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are: depart from me, all ye
workers of iniquity Luke 13:24,25,27.
When the Lord SHUTS the DOOR of the STRAIT GATE, the workers of iniquity
cannot enter.
"And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the
prison were shaken: and Immediately all the DOORS WERE OPENED, and
EVERYONE'S BANDS were LOOSED."- Acts 16:26
The Holy Spirit led Paul and Silas to the prison DOOR which Jesus OPEN ED for
them to enter into for the purpose of converting the Philippian Jailer and his
family.
Here we see a spectacular OPENING of the prison DOORS to ASTOUND the
jailer and cause him to believe!

4 Jesus holds the Key to Hell and the Key to Death

". . . Fear not, 1 am the FIRST and the LAST."
"I am HE THAT LIVETH, and was dead and behold, I AM ALIVE
FOREVERMORE, A-men; and have the KEYS of HELL and of DEATH."-Rev.
1:17-18.
Jesus tells us here not to be afraid because HE holds the KEYS to HELL and
DEATH and HE is on OUR SIDE! Only Jesus has the power to commit an evil
SPIRIT to hell.
To my knowledge, the bottomless pit where demons, false prophets, and the
wicked are to be committed, has not yet been opened. It will be opened at the
proper time by the Star of Heaven. See Rev. 9:1,2.
BABYLON is the site of one of the openings of hell. On the edge of this Hell Hole
are desert creatures, demons, and unclean spirits, etc.
"But wild beasts of the desert shall Ile there, and their houses shall be full of
doleful creatures, and OWLS shall dwell there, and SATYRS shall dance there."-
Isa. 13:21.
"And I saw three UNCLEAN SPIRITS like FROGS come out of the mouth of the
beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet."-Rev. 18:13.

...BABYLON the GREAT is fallen, is fallen, and Is become the habitation of

devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful
bird."-Rev. 18:2.
ADAM gave his powers of dominion or authority over to Satan.
Satan held the power of death until Jesus died and descended into HELL, taking
the POWER or KEYS of DEATH away from the Devil.
... that through DEATH he might DESTROY him that had the power of death, that
is the devil.
And DELIVER them who through FEAR OF DEATH were all their lifetime subject
to BONDAGE" -Heb. 2:14,15.
The second death has no power over the redeemed because Jesus DISARMED
Satan of the POWER or KEYS of DEATH.
"Blessed and Holy is HE that hath part in the first resurrection: ON SUCH THE
SECOND DEATH HATH NO POWER, but they shall be PRIESTS OF GOD AND
OF CHRIST, and SHALL REIGN with HIM a thousand years."-Rev. 20:8.
DEATH and HELL will be CAST into the Lake of Fire in the end.
"And DEATH and HELL were CAST Into the Lake of Fire. This is the second
death."-Rev. 20:14.

Chapter 5
The Key of Knowledge

The KEY of KNOWLEDGE is given to the apostles to OPEN SPIRITUAL THINGS

in the Scriptures. of REVELATION KNOWLEDGE to be REVEALED by HIS
ANOINTED to HIS people.
The Scribes and Lawyers held this KEY with jealous care. They reserved them
exclusively to themselves.
Our Lord likened the KEY of KNOWLEDGE unto a temple into which the lawyers,
writers, and leaders should have LED the people into. but Instead they
REFUSED TO ENTER IN or LET THE PEOPLE IN with their KEY.
They not only hindered the people from KNOWING but even NULLIFIED God's
commands with TRADITIONAL DOCTRINE. See Luke 11:52, Matt. 23:13.15,27.
So ... Jesus told them off, pronounced a WOE upon them... took the KEY of
KNOWLEDGE away from them. Luke 20:46,47, Luke 11:52,46,47.
He then gave it to the writers and apostles who could go into the Holy of Holies
(the Temple of God) to receive God's instructions for his BODY today revealing
new light on the OLD WORD.
"Then said HE unto them. Therefore every SCRIBE which Is Instructed unto the
KINGDOM of HEAVEN is like unto a man that Is a householder, which bringeth
forth out of his treasure THINGS NEW AND OLD."-Matt. 13:52.
"Which In other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as It Is now
REVEALED unto his HOLY APOSTLES and PROPHETS by the SPIRIT" -Eph.
3:5.

"And for me, that UTTERANCE may be GIVEN unto me, that I may open my
mouth boldly, to make known the MYSTERY of the GOSPEL"- Eph 6:19.
"Even the MYSTERY which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but
now is made MANIFEST to HIS SAINTS."-Col. 1:26.
. . . and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding to the
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT of the MYSTERY of GOD, and of the FATHER, and of
CHRIST.
In WHOM are HID all the treasures of WISDOM and KNOWLEDGE."-Col. 2:2,3.
"Surely the Lord God will do nothing but he REVEALETH HIS SECRET unto his
SERVANTS the PROPHETS."- Amos 3:7.
... Because it is given UNTO YOU to KNOW the mysteries of the KINGDOM of
HEAVEN, but to them it is not given."-Matt 13:11.
THESE THREE KEYS THAT BELIEVERS HOLD OPEN PRISON DOORS AND
SET THE CAPTIVES FREE!

Chapter 6 The Keys of Binding and Loosing

These TWO KEYS are given to the Believers.

The KINGDOM of GOD is to belong to the SAINTS Therefore. WE have the
KEYS to it NOW.
Matt. 5:1-20; Luke 2229.30; Heb. 12:28; James 2:5; I Peter 1:11 .
WE SHALL REIGN ON THE EARTH.
"And hath made US unto our GOD, KINGS and PRIESTS and WE shall REIGN
on the earth." Rev. 5:10.
THE KINGDOM SHALL BE RULED BY THE SAINTS. Matt. 24:47.
THERE ARE SIX KEYS TO THE KINGDOM.
JESUS HAS THREE. AND WE HOLD THREE! 3+3=8
Where does this leave Satan? "KEY LESS"
VICTORY!

Chapter 7
Peter is Given the Keys

"And I will give unto thee the Keys of the Kingdom of Heaven; and whatsoever
thou shalt BIND on earth shall be bound in Heaven: And whatsoever thou shalt
LOOSE on earth shall be loosed in Heaven."-Matt. 16:19.
Jesus gave Peter the Keys to the Kingdom-BINDING and LOOSING that
whatsoever, anything, or being that he bound or loosed in Heaven and earth,
would be bound or loosed in Heaven or earth by Him, also.
WHAT POWER IN THESE TWO WORDS1
To be able to speak a word forth-"Be BOUND" and have Heaven BIND it, or "Be
LOOSED" and have Heaven LOOSE IT. What a tremendous responsibility to
know how to use these Keys properly; to know God's express will on the matter;
to know the difference between an evil spirit that needs BINDING and a spirit that
needs LOOSING, or when to BIND and when to LOOSE.
We need to know how to work the Works of God in every given situation and how
to try a spirit by the individual fruit.
Why was Peter blessed with these two Keys?
"He saith unto him, 'But whom say YE that I am?' And Simon Peter answered
and said, THOU ART THE CHRIST, THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD." -Matt.
16:15-16.

Peter had the PROPER ANSWER to the question that Jesus asked him, and
Jesus knew that only the Father could have revealed it unto him.
"And Jesus answered and said unto him, BLESSED ART THOU, Simon Bar-ions:
for FLESH and BLOOD hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which Is in
Heaven"-Matt. 16:17.
Flesh and Blood-no human being had revealed Jesus unto Peter, only the Father.
The person to whom Jesus Is revealed is a Chosen Vessel.
Paul says in Galatians 1:16,17, that when "God was pleased to reveal His Son to
me ... I did not confer with flesh and blood, nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those
who were apostles before me;" that is, he did not receive his Gospel from Peter
or James or any other man. He was not CALLED by any Church, but through
DIVINE REVELATION.
"And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my
Church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against It"-Matt. 16:18.
This Scripture is very important to us because it is here that Jesus chooses the
foundation of His eternal Church which will forever be with Him throughout the
ages. Those who have this Revelation are to form the eternal union with the
Father, the Son, the Holy Ghost and the Church.
Peter was the first man that Jesus chose to build His Church upon. It was not
upon Peter as a man that He laid His foundation, but it was upon that
"substance" of Inner awareness, KNOWLEDGE, and recognition given only by
the Father in Heaven.
SUBSTANCE
"Now faith is the SUBSTANCE of things hoped for, the evidence of things not
seen--Hebrews 11:1.

What is the "Substance" that He has chosen to build His Church upon? It
certainly is not the flesh of man.
It is that "Substance" of God, that real essence of God stuff which underlies all
outward manifestations-that which is real. It is that which is the most important,
main part, or element in any existence. It is the God given Revelation and
KNOWLEDGE of Christ. It is the "Substance" hidden deep within us that the
gates of Hell cannot prevail against! It Is an indestructible fortress against the
Host of Hell!
Hell's powers cannot hold out or be effective against such a "Substance." No, this
material truly is such that there is no weapon formed that will make a dent in it. It
will not dent, crumble. bend, break, corrode, bum or give in!
I repeat, it Is truly an indestructible Substance!
What is this Wonderful, powerful "Substance" that overcomes Hell and the
World?
"Whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world: and this IS the victory that
overcomes the World, EVEN our FAITH"-1 John 5:4.
So ... this "Substance" is Faith?
"Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that BELIEVETH that JESUS IS
THE SON OF GOD?"-1 John 5:5.
"Who do you say that I am?"
"Lord, I say you are Christ, the Son of the Living God!"
So ... Christ will build His Church upon KNOWLEDGE of Him.
Upon those to whom God has raised the curtain of darkness and revealed the
SON OF LIGHT.
Those who "KNOW HIM as the CHRIST." That HE is whom they believe)

That HE is able!
That HE is all that He claimed to be and morel
-that in HIM is Eternal Life, Power, Redemption. Authority of the Godhead,
Everlasting Word, the Son of the Living God!
Yes, those to whom the fullness of Christ is revealed. they will become the" rock"
that Christ will build His Church upon, and the gates of Hell CANNOT prevail
against them. To those ... will be handed these Keys to the Kingdom:
BINDING, LOOSING, and KNOWLEDGE!
To those ... there will be nothing hidden that shall not be revealed!
Do not be misled and think because of this issue of Godliness, that our bodies
are invincible. While this "Substance" within us cannot be damaged, WE are
mere mortals of clay; flesh and blood containers. Paul spoke of it thusly:
"We possess THIS PRECIOUS TREASURE In frail, human vessels of earth, that
the GRANDEUR and EXCEEDING GREATNESS of the POWER may be shown
to be OF GOD, and not FROM OURSELVES!-II Cor. 4:7. Amp. Ver.
Paul said that even while WE ARE CARRYING about THIS GODLY POWER that
we are:
Troubled on every side, yet not distressed. Perplexed,
but not in despair. Persecuted,
but not forsaken. Cast down,
but not destroyed.
Yes, we are subject to all of these things just as Christ was subject to them.
We still hurt, ache, cut, bruise, and bleed. But while we

are experiencing this, WE ARE ACTING LIKE JESUS in BINDING AND

LOOSING.
While our bodies are slowly dying, we are working the WORKS of GOD in those
to whom we minister.

Chapter 8
The Believer Holds the Keys of Binding and Loosing

"Verily I SAY unto you, Whatsoever YE shall BIND on earth shall be BOUND in
Heaven: and whatsoever ye shall LOOSE on earth shall be LOOSED In Heaven.
Again, I SAY unto you, That If TWO of you shall AGREE on earth as TOUCHING
ANYTHING that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which Is In
Heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name there am I in
the midst."-Matt. 18:18-20.
In these verses Jesus reinforces the teaching given in Matthew 16:19, to prove
that the Believer Church is given the KEYS to the KINGDOM and to show that
Jesus committed to the Believer the general POWER of DECISION.
Two or three gathered together in agreement on any given situation with Jesus in
the midst constitutes a full fledged church.
In Matt. 18:18, the promise is now made, not to Peter alone, but to any two or
three Believers gathered in JESUS' NAME.
At the time Jesus spoke, there was no local church congregation with pastor,
board members, etc. He placed this POWER in the hand of the Believing
Disciple, where it still remains.
Satan knows about the POWER of these TWO KEYS.

He probably dreads and trembles at the mention of the two words "BIND and
LOOSE." He is jealous, mad, and fearful about Jesus taking them out of his hand
and entrusting them to the Believer.
He would positively annihilate us if he could. His only consolation must be the
ignorance of many or most Believers, in picking up and using the KEYS.
Those of us who believe that Jesus is the Christ, the SON OF THE LIVING GOD,
have a job to do.
As God sent Jesus out to do a job for him, JESUS SENDS US in the same way
to FINISH HIS WORK.
SO SEND I YOU
"Just as YOU sent ME into the world, I ALSO HAVE SENT THEM INTO THE
WORLD. And so for their sake and on their behalf I sanctify (dedicate,
consecrate) myself, that they also may be sanctified (dedicated, consecrated,
made Holy) in the TRUTH. Neither for these alone do 1 pray-it is not for their
sake only that I make this request-but also for ALL THOSE WHO WILL EVER
COME TO BELIEVE IN (trust, cling to, rely on) ME through their word and
teaching; So that the ALL may be ONE Gust) as You, Father, are In Me and I In
You, that they also may be one In US, so that the world may believe and be
convinced that YOU HAVE SENT ME.
I HAVE GIVEN TO THEM THE GLORY AND HONOR WHICH YOU HAVE
GIVEN ME, that they may be ONE (even) as WE are ONE. I in them, and You in
ME, In order that they may become ONE and perfectly UNITED, that the world
may know and (definitely) recognize that You SENT Me, and that You have
LOVED them (even) as You have LOVED Me."-John 17:18-23, Amp. Ver.
YES, HIS MINISTRY HAS BEEN COMMITTED UNTO US. We must be
convinced of this fact if we are going to get results in almost EVERY WORK of
GOD!

Chapter 9
He Chooses Us

DEAR CHILDREN:
YOUR REAL HOME IS IN HEAVEN!
I BEG you not to partake of the evil pleasures of this world: THEY ARE NOT FOR
YOU, for they FIGHT against your very souls.
LONG AGO, EVEN BEFORE I MADE THE WORLD, I CHOSE YOU TO BE MY
VERY OWN, through what I did for you.
I DECIDED THEN TO MAKE YOU HOLY IN MY EYES, without a single fault. You
who stand before me COVERED with my love.
YOU DIDNT CHOOSE ME ... I CHOSE YOU!
I APPOINTED YOU TO GO and PRODUCE LOVELY FRUIT, always, so that no
matter what you ask for from the FATHER, using MY NAME, HE WILL GIVE IT
TO YOU.
I DEMAND THAT YOU LOVE EACH OTHER, for you get enough hate from the
world: But then, it hated me before it hated you. The world would love you if you
belonged to it, BUT YOU DONT. for 1 CHOSE YOU TO COME OUT OF THE
WORLD, and so it hates you.
You have been CHOSEN MY ME, MYSELF, YOU ARE MY PRIESTS. I am the
KING, you are HOLY and PURE, you are MY VERY OWN. YOU MUST SHOW
TO OTHERS how I CALLED you out of the darkness into my wonderful LIGHT.

His Part and Our Part

"Together they will wage war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will conquer them;
for he is LORD OVER ALL LORDS and KING OF KINGS, and his people are the
CALLED and CHOSEN and FAITHFUL ones'-Rev. 17:14.
CALLED CHOSEN FAITHFUL
You may be called. You may be chosen. But only the FAITHFUL ones will be at
His side when He conquers the enemy! So, remember the calling and choosing
Is HIS part. But to be faithful is YOUR part.
What is OUR part in the action of BINDING and LOOSING?
The Bible says, you BIND and LOOSE. (Matt. 16:19; 18:18.)
Let us examine this power to BIND. OUR part In this work is to decide what
needs to be done. Study my book, HOW TO TRY A SPIRIT, to determine it there
is fruit of an evil spirit. If so. we must first BIND that spirit, then SPEAK
destruction to the fruit he is producing.
Next, we must deal with past damages done by these evil ones.
Then, to DECREE it, as a KING. to SAY it either out loud or silently to God, and
to believe HIS WORD is indisputably true.
After we have finished this work of God, OUR part of the action ends, and GOD'S
part begins.
We do not take chains and ropes and tie up a being GOD DOES!

GOD BINDS AND LOOSENS

He has CHOSEN to work with us.
He BINDS and LOOSENS what we BIND and LOOSE. He ENFORCES our
work.
His forces GO and DO our will. They PERFORM our words... just as we have
SAID!
As the Bible says in Isaiah 58:8. this job is assigned to the Believer:
"Is not this the fast that 1 have chosen? to LOOSE the bands of wickedness, to
UNDO the heavy burdens, and to LET the oppressed go free, and that YE
BREAK every yoke?"
YOU FAST and PRAY.
YOU LOOSE bands of wickedness. YOU UNDO heavy burdens.
YOU LET the oppressed go free. YOU BREAK the yokes.
YOU PLUCK them out of HELL!
YOU RECONCILE them to GOD!
As you can see the job is ours. WORK WITH GOD. not independently. If you are
not certain about a situation, it is always safer to turn it over to God for
Investigation. See "Reproving Works of Darkness." on page 53, in my book.

After you make manifest the work of darkness, look over the situation, assess it.
decide which spirit or evil act needs to be BOUND or LOOSED to bring about the
will of God.

Believer's Choice

TO DO or NOT TO DO ... BINDING AND LOOSING is the Believer's prerogative!

The BINDER is given authority and power from on HIGH. God BINDS whatever
we BIND from operating any place in the heavenly or the earthly realm.
The degree or extent that any thing or being is BOUND in any given situation
depends entirely upon the decision of the KEY HOLDER-the Believer.
God BINDS it to the extent that you spoke it. If you restrict it to a certain area or
decide to commit a spirit to a certain place, then that is what He will do.
We have been given HIS SANCTION to do as we decide because it is the ability
and the knowledge to BIND and LOOSE that is going to help bring in the
Kingdom of God!
The enemy, obstacles, and opposition must be BOUND and REMOVED in order
to get on with the vital work of God.
For instance, BINDING and CASTING out could be used to relocate opposing
spirits so we can be free to come and go in liberty.
For example, if we are sent somewhere and cannot get to our destination
because of an obstacle placed in our path, SAY to it, "Be removed and cast into
the sea," and it shall be done by our Father.
God never intends for us to be the flee-e, but for the Believer to be the
OVERCOMER in ALL things.

We are not to go up to a mountain or obstacle and say to God, "I'm sorry, I can't
get this job done. An evil spirit withstood me, and I could not do it, so I gave up."
No, that excuse won't do.
Make a decision of exactly what you need done to get His WILL accomplished.
Then. SPEAK it to the object before God. (It is not necessary to speak it aloud
unless led. You are not dealing with flesh and blood, but principalities, and
powers of darkness.)
God is saying to us, YOU BIND IT, I BIND IT ... YOU LOOSE and I LOOSE."
Let's get on with it. We have POWER to move things and persons around in
order to do the will of God.
The KEYS of BINDING and LOOSING do not only apply to deliverance, but to all
the spirit realm.
When Jesus says that the spirits are subject to us, He did not say good or bad in
bodies or out of bodies, but all of them. We, indeed, hold these KEYS and must
be led by His SPIRIT.
This power may be a new idea to you, and you maybe a little shocked about it,
but Satanic forces know it, and so should YOU.
BINDING and LOOSING makes a real difference in any given situation. To BIND
an enemy, or an evil work, and LOOSE a friend. and a good work, is a mighty
POWER given to the Believer to bring about God's will upon the earth even as it
is now in Heaven.
We BI ND the evil entities or spirits active in each case, giving them whatever
sentences or constrainment we decide upon.
A maximum sentence would be: To be carried to Babylon and BOUND, not to
work again in this age, but to await the opening of the pit and to be cast into it
along with Satan when it is opened by Jesus, who holds the KEY to HELL. (Rev.
1:18.)
We are N OT given that Key, so we cannot send them to the pit before the time.

We LOOSE the human body from evil powers that cause sickness, sorrow, unsoundness,
unhappiness, torment, captivity, etc.
WE have been given POWER over all the powers of evil-why should WE knuckle under? LET
them crumble under OUR AUTHORITY!
Don't let Satan get away with ill God allows what we allow and disallows what we disallow.
DON'T ALLOW IT RESTRICT CONSTRAIN CONFINE YES, BIND IT!

THE DEFINITION OF BINDING:

TO BIND. to fasten by a band. chains. or ropes, etc., to tie, make rigid, firm,
unmovable, fasten, shackle, fetter, cinch, clamp, manacle, pin. hitch, secure, peg
down, strap down, or tether, confine, tighten, slow down, close down, stop. or put
an end to.
TO RESTRAIN, constrain, hinder, put under a peace bond, arrest. restrict, forbid.
refuse to allow.
ALWAYS BY AUTHORITY; whether Spiritual authority, governmental authority, or
brute force.
IN OUR CASE, it is the SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY of holding the THREE KEYS:

TO LOOSE, unfasten, unbind. untie. release, separate, remove, relocate. lift the
barrier, pardon, to forgive, to exonerate, to clear or absolve from guilt, to loose

the "Prayer of Faith" that GOD WILL RAISE THEM UP.

13 Power in Action

BINDING and LOOSING is the MOST POWERFUL, SWIFTEST, MOST

EFFECTIVE ACTION ever committed by God to the Saints.
"I shall ENDUE YOU WITH POWER from on High" means just that,
unprecedented POWER over ALL FORCES!
We need this power in everything we attempt to do whether it is winning a soul,
preaching, or just driving a car.
Have you ever tried to pluck some soul out of the hand of Satan without using the
mighty weapons: BINDING and LOOSING?
Satan will not allow you to take his wards unless these powers are put into
action. I have won few souls that kept themselves free without SPIRITUAL
WARFARE.
We must not wait upon the enemy to engage us in combat, but we should
engage the enemy!
The following is an experience I had in BINDING and LOOSING. I wish to make it
clear that we cannot always expect God to work as fast as in the following
incident, but God will bring it about in His own time and way.
One day. Lloyd and I were driving along the highway, and we saw this man
walking away from his car with a gas can. Another man a child sat in the car.
We decided to give him a ride to the gas station. Lloyd stopped, and the man got
in the back seat. He was a nice looking middle aged man. He was obviously a
drinker, but was not drunk then.
We stopped at a convenience store nearby. He went In and got gas in his can, a
beer in a sack, and beg3n to sip it.

The short time this took was plenty of time for me to go into the presence of God
and find out just what, if anything, needed to be done by me concerning this man.
As I said before, some may walk accidentally, but those who are SONS are LED
BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD into all things.
Suddenly, I began to know that this man was called to the ministry at one time,
but was far away from God today. l knew every thing I needed to know about him
and how to proceed in the few blocks until we dropped him off.
I bound the SPIRIT of BONDAGE that had him enslaved, the SPIRIT of
WHOREDOMS which worked with Bondage. I took out the SWORD of the
SPIRIT of GOD and chased off all the FAMILIAR SPIRITS, COM MON SPIRITS,
ETC., who illegally lived within him.
I asked God to pour out His SPIRIT of SUPPLICATION and GRACE upon him, to
plead with him, showing him the price paid upon Calvary for his redemption; to let
him review his position and destination if he continued upon his present course. It
doesn't take long to do all of this work, as it was done in quietness in the SPIRIT
REALM.
He sat very quietly, as we drove back to his car. I used this time to tell him that
we were ministers and had a Christian camp not faraway.
We stopped behind his car, and he got out without hardly a comment.
I thought, "Well ... I guess I do the plowing and the planting and Apollos can do
the harvesting this time. After all, it's not my affair, I've done my part. The HOLY
GHOST can do HIS, HIS WAY It is God's problem, if He doesn't move now, I
can't."
While I was taking my usual "Don't blame me, God" attitude, the man stooped
down by my car window to thank us. I heard my voice say, "You know that God
wants you to come back to Him, don't you? You know He called you to preach,
and you are far from Him."
His eyes began to widen to look at us in a strange way.
He said. "I knew it! Of all the cars that were passing

down this road. why did you have to stop?"

"You could never understand the terrible things I have done. I just got out of jail
for trying to kill my father," he said.
Many horrible confessions began to pour out of him ... and he said, "God would
never take me back!"
I reached my hand out through the window and said, "He wants you!"
This man threw the beer can one way, the cigarette another, and cried with a
loud voice, "And I want HIM and I am coming back, Lord!"
He screamed and cried and wretched as my husband and I unbound those devils
I had previously bound, and cast them out of him.
Nothing stood between him and God now. And with his father and son craning
their necks looking at such a sight, he threw up his hands and praised God from
the very depths of his being, thanking God for such everlasting mercy and grace!
The cars were going very slowly along that road. The drivers have probably
slowed down before to look at bloody wrecks along the road, but I believe it is the
only time they ever saw a full grown man being BORN into the KINGDOM of
GOD beside a highway!

Chapter14
Binding and Loosing Supply Lines

Do you know Satan will try to cut off the Minister's supplies?
He will do so by BINDING. clogging, hindering, and interfering with the good
supply to try to keep US in poverty and need-one of the best ways to keep US
from producing fruit.
When someone pulls up to a gas tank and tells the attendant to fill it up, he
cannot pay for it with a teaching or a word of knowledge. The attendant needs
cash.
Where is this CASH supposed to come from?
It could be found in the fishes' mouth, but God does not always choose to do it
that way.
HE HAS ANOTHER PLAN:
THE TITHE
GOD HAS CLAIMED A TENTH FOR HIMSELF of all income, fruit, herd, flock,
etc., of all the increase.
"And all the TITHE of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of
the tree is the LORD'S: IT is HOLY unto the Lord."-Lev. 27:30.

God has the responsibility of being PROVIDER for this group:
THE LEVITES. the CALLED, CHOSEN, and FAITHFUL THE STRANGER
THE WIDOW
THE FATHERLESS
"Take heed to thyself that thou forsake not the LEVITE as long as thou Iivest
upon the earth Deut. 12:19.
Who is the Lord referring to here?
The LEVITE, a title which besides denoting all the descendants of Levi, the
Priesthood of the Levites, refers to the CALLED, CHOSEN, and FAITHFUL
SERVANTS who are SET APART for the service of the Lord, (Deut. 10:8.
WHY?
The LEVITE has no inheritance among you. His inheritance is the LORD."
"Wherefore LEVI hath no part nor inheritance with his brethren, the Lord Is HIS
INHERITANCE according as the Lord thy God promised him." Deut. 10:9; (Num.
18:24).
WHERE IS GOD'S TENTH?
The Devil doesn't hold our supply money, unless he has stolen. robbed, or
wheedled it out of the true holder.
NO, GOD HAS ENTRUSTED HIS TENTH into the hands and stewardship of the
Saints.
HOW IS THE TENTH DISTRIBUTED?
These Saints are to take the tenth of all their income (which is really HIS) and to
DISTRIBUTE it property and to PAY his faithful laborers ... on time.

"Even so hath the Lord ORDAINED that they which PREACH THE GOSPEL
should LIVE of the GOSPEL." I Cor. 9:14.
The Devil is out to prevent those who are holding the funds from giving them to
the right people at the right time to meet their need.
If the Devil is not able to prevent it, then perhaps he will succeed in delaying it.
The Devil may accomplish this mission by injecting a mere thought into someone
who maybe considering supplying a worker's need. It could go something like
this:
"I feel led to help poor Brother So and So with his mission... Maybe, next week."
Thus we end up cooperating with the evil BINDING to withhold God's good
supply from a Gospel work or worker.
No matter how Satan has managed to accomplish his evil work, what can we do
about it?
We can take our KEYS to the KINGDOM. which are BINDING and LOOSING,
and LOOSE our supply lines from these evil BINDINGS.
TO LOOSE A FINANCIAL BIND "Sample Prayer"
FATHER:
You said a MINISTER of the GOSPEL is to eat and live by partaking of the altar
gifts, and your tithing plan, which is reserved for the purpose of paying your
servants who are on the battlefield.
We confess that we have been chosen and sent to do this good work, and that
your WORD says that we must be thoroughly furnished for it.
All the riches are yours, and all the silver and gold.
Now ... In the NAME of JESUS, and by the powers invested in us, we LOOSEN
the holds of the Devil and his forces, whatever they be, upon our supply, from
those who are holding on to them.

FATHER, your WORD teaches us that we CAST down every evil imagination,
bringing into captivity every contrary thought of disobedience to the
DISTRIBUTION of GOD'S GOOD SUPPLY TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THE
SAINTS. Therefore, we cast down every high thing which exalts itself against the
knowledge of You in the TITHE-PLAN.
We stand ready to revenge all disobedience after we have obeyed (11 Cor.
10:5,6).
WE LOOSE THESE FUNDS. WE RELEASE OUR SUPPLY AND DIRECT IT TO
BE FORTHCOMING to us so that our work and life may go on unhampered. We
now SEND out a Ministering Spirit to go forth according to Hebrews 1:14, and
bring in these finances. FATHER, you are able to make all grace, favor, and
earthly blessing come to us in abundance. We realize that you are now working
on this presented matter, and we await with thankful hearts to receive.
IN JESUS NAME and to HIS GLORY. AMEN
NOW ..TURN THE TABLES!
The Devil is out to BIND up our supply lines. Most of us are willing to concede
this fact, because we have experienced such a BINDING.
BUT..
Very few of us understand that WE are supposed to be working ever harder and
more powerfully to do the same thing to the evil forces. Sometimes the evil spirit
is doing more with no keys than we are doing with them!
One day this fact was revealed to me very clearly while watching a T. V. report
about a well-known 'Satanic" rock group which was appearing in our area.
The program showed families sitting in the audience. It told how before the
program the WARLOCKS went through their rituals to psyche out the people to
buy their merchandise. They made no pretense about who they called upon, as
they took blood communion with Satan before the audience.

The interview shared that they would have to take in a certain amount of money
in order to continue their work.
The SPIRIT of GOD directed me to cut off their finances and to see if they would
serve their Lord for nothing, as we sometimes are forced to do because of evil
BINDINGS and intervention.
Where they loosed the money from the people to Come to them, I BOUND it.
I commanded that all psychic commands directed to the minds of the people to
cause them to purchase their records, tapes, T-shirts. etc., be broken and
annulled.
Instead, I gave a new command. It went something like this prayer of entreaty:
"AUDIENCE OF THIS EVIL GROUP, I entreat you in the NAME of JESUS NOT
TO SIT IN THE COUNSEL OF THIS UNGODLY GROUP lest you and your seed
become partakers of the curses and rewards of their evil deeds. Do not subject
yourselves and your innocent children to their hexes and plans to rob you of your
money and SOULS.
I entreat you, do not purchase their products. I LOOSE you from obeying their
psychic commands.
Satan, I COMMAND that all the benefits be cut OFF from this group. Money,
drugs, fame, popularity, sex, Satanic powers, are all to be withheld from them. I
now BIND all these things before God, IN JESUS NAME."
Do you know what God will do now? Matt. 16:19.
HE WILL BIND IT IN HEAVEN AND EARTH. It could not get any more BOUND
up than that!
I continued to pray as led by the Holy Spirit, launching a powerful SPIRITUAL
attack upon them, forbidding any further prosperity to them.
Some time later. I caught a news report saying that they were in financial trouble.
To my knowledge they are still in trouble, unless they have repented. God usually
shows me the outcome of all led intervention.
If you become frightened with this direct attack against Satan and his forces,
here are some comforting Scriptures:

"How you are fallen from Heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning How you are cut
down to the ground-mighty though you were against the nations of the world. For
you said to yourself, I will ascend to Heaven and rule the angels. I will take the
highest throne. I will preside on the Mount of Assembly far away In the north. I
will climb to the highest heavens and be like the Most High.
But INSTEAD, YOU WILL BE BROUGHT DOWN to the PIT of HELL, down to Its
lowest depths. EVERYONE THERE WILL STARE AT YOU and ASK, CAN THIS
BE THE ONE WHO DESTROYED THE WORLD and MADE It Into a shambles
and DEMOLISHED Its greatest cities and had no mercy on his prisoners?" Isa.
14:12-17.
DO NOT BE AFRAID! Satan would not be able to do as much destruction it
BELIEVERS BOUND and LOOSED his SUPPLY LINES with these KEYS to the
KINGDOM!

Chapter 15
Binding Amiss for Personal Reasons

Do you know that it is possible to BIND up an entire meeting by disagreeing with

what is being taught?
When a truth is stated that is far beyond our own knowledge and our own
experience, we can easily and falsely assume it not lobe of God. We tend to Iimit
God-and the rest of the Church-to our own level of growth, ability, faith,
knowledge, and experience. We try to justify the Scriptures with such statements
as: "God isn't doing those things today"; "That was for the early Church" or "That
refers to the future." BUT JESUS is the SAME. YESTERDAY, TODAY, AND
FOREVER-HE NEVER CHANGES!
We must be willing to use our KEYS of BINDING and LOOSING even though
there is a possibility of BINDING AMISS.
Just recently a lady wrote me a letter and said she liked my book, "HOW TO
CONDUCT SPIRITUAL WARFARE" until she came to the part about going into
the Holy of Holies. At that point she said she almost tossed the book into the
garbage can, but then she decided to give me a chance to repent by writing to
me. She said she had been praying for many years and had never had such an
experience of going into God's presence. Then she told me her own experiences
and methods of doing things. Naturally, I thanked God forgiving me
KNOWLEDGE of BINDING and LOOSING. I LOOSED myself from all her
restrictions on me to her own level of understanding.

If we are not knowledgeable. all of us in some way might try to judge or restrict
others. We must be on guard against this type of BINDING.
TO BIND, RESTRICT, AND SUPPRESS FOR PERSONAL REASONS
Here is another example of how It is possible to BIND AMISS:
Christians are guilty of BINDING AMISS without realizing it. This makes it even
more important to learn how to try a SPIRIT by its fruit. For whatever BINDINGS
that are done-intentional or unintentionally-remain BOUND until they are
LOOSED!
When God first began to open my eyes on this subject. I was shocked to learn
that my husband was suppressing me. when I thought it was the Devil.
Both of us were involved in a large and heavy ministry when I discovered that I
was BOUND, not only in the development of the ministry, but also in many
personal endeavors.
Naturally, I BOUND and CAST out SPIRITS to no avail. I was still BOUND and
BLOCKED on every turn. It seemed that this force anticipated my every move
and set up stumbling blocks in my path. There was no physical reason that I
could see blocking me, but nevertheless, 1 was restrained!
Finally in a state of despair. I cried out to God. God spoke to me and said, "Go
and ask your husband what he wants to do about this mission." I confronted my
husband and told him what God had said to me. Then for the first time. he
confessed to me that he did not feel up to the work involved in the ministry and
that he d id not want the work to progress any further. He was hindering the work
by suppression and refusing to cooperate. Through his frustration, he was
BINDING the work!
His reasons for ding this was that he felt overwhelmed by the vastness of tie
ministry, but God made a way of escape for both of us. God placed him in a
ministry more

suitable and made away for me to serve Him in the ways he had called me to.
I thank God for this revelation! It reveals how someone unintentionally can BIND
us for personal reasons.
God CALLS US to excel beyond all boundaries of man into His strength, His
powers, His capabilities. and His accomplishments.

Destroy the Works of the Devil

"Jesus partook of the same nature, that by going through death, HE MIGHT
BRING TO NOUGHT and MAKE NO EFFECT him who had the power of death,
that Is, the Devil; and also, that HE MIGHT DELIVER and COMPLETELY SET
FREE ALL those who through the fear of death were hold In BONDAGE
throughout the whole course of their lives" -Heb. 2:14. Amp. Ver.
This is the purpose for which the SON of GOD was made manifest, that HE
might "Bring to nought. and to make of no effect the work of the Devil." I John 3:8
Amp. Ver.
Jesus Christ came to DESTROY the works of the Devil. He came to do this not
only for three years during His ministry, but FOREVER. As we consider this fact,
we have to face the reality that although He came to destroy the work of the
Devil, there yet remains much work of the devil in evidence. And even though He
came to deliver ALL that are oppressed by the Devil, there are still those who
ARE oppressed.
Jesus intended that his followers carry on HIS earthly MISSION-to both do and
teach new Believers the practice of bringing to nought and making of no effect
the work of the Devil.
The early Believers DID CARRY on this work that Jesus commissioned them to
do. After a time, FAITH WAS LOST, and the followers of Christ failed to do this
work.

SET AT NOUGHT THE WORKS OF THE DEVIL

We are to continue Jesus' work, and this work is to SET THE DEVIL'S WORK AT
NOUGHT by making it ineffectual.
INEFFECTUAL:
Rendered powerless to produce the desired effect or immediate results... To be
made fruitless, Never able to get anything done. Can't make it work. Unable to do
anything in action. Never able to achieve or accomplish. To work in vain, to no
avail, make no impact, impression. To be unable to put into effect a previously
formulated goal; Never to produce visible, actual results.
I should think there would be nothing as infuriating or frustrating to the devil and
his cohorts (evil demons and evil humans), than to fight an opponent who
constantly rendered every evil act INEFFECTIVE!
When we come upon a work that is clearly the work of the Devil, WHAT ARE WE
TO DO?
We are not to accept it.
We are not to let it have an effect upon us. We are to render it Ineffective.
We are to make it powerless.
THEN ... WE ARE TO WORK THE WORKS OF CHRIST INSTEAD.
PICK up your KEYS of KNOWLEDGE. BINDING and LOOSING. Don't let the
works of the Devil get to your SPIRIT. Don't react the way the Devil has planned,
but counter attack instead with the mighty weapons of God. Don't stew and fret
over what you see that he has done.
Rather, GET TO WORK and outdo HIM! Work his works over!
Reduce it down to nothing, as if it had not been done. Clean it up.
Wipe it out. Erase it. Forget it. Give it no place to exist.
Do not chalk it up as a score. Rub it out.

Do not let it count or matter. Treat it as if it never happened. Do not give place to
it.
LET the enemy know that you will fight. He will engage you less and less. Then
you will be able to be part of the answer instead of the problem.
God truly has an ARMY marching through the land!

DELIVERANCE is their game, and HEALING is in their hand.

Chapter 17
The Use of Binding for the Work of the Gospel

God wants us to take much liberty with the scriptures to profit and produce much
fruit or interest for his Kingdom.
"But the manifestation of the SPIRIT is given to EVERY MAN to PROFIT with."- I
Cor. 12:7.
One aspect to our BINDING abilities widely overlooked is the use of BINDING
the specific scriptures to those to whom we minister. These spoken WORDS
become the ACTIVATED, LIVING SPOKEN WORD. This speaking WORD will
not return void, without accomplishing what it was sent out to do. After it has
accomplished its task, the WORD returns to God!
if the WORD is BOUND to someone before God, according to Matthew 18:18,
then it stays there nagging, tugging, and speaking to that person until they
receive the message this WORD intends for them.
AN EXAMPLE
My sister and I went to Alabama and baptized another sister who believed. While
there we converted and led my brother to the Lord. We then desired to baptize
him in water according to the Scriptures. He would not be convinced it was
necessary at all.
On our way home we were praying about this and the Lord showed us we could
use our Key of BINDING to BIN D the Scriptures of water baptism to him.

So according to Pro. 3:3, 7:1-3, Deut. 11:18-22, we BOUND THOSE water

baptism Scriptures to him; to be written upon the tables of his heart; to be worn
as a necklace around his neck; we BOUND them upon his fingers, and as a sign
upon his hand; as frontlets between his eyes, and that he should teach his
children speaking of them "when he sat in his house, and when he lay down and
rose up." We prayed and spoke out all of these things which God was revealing
to us as we drove back to Florida.
The next report that reached us was that water baptism was all my brother
seemed to have on his mind. He was teaching those Scriptures right out of the
Bible to his child, nephew, employees, and anyone who would listen to him!
I waited on the Lord to speak to me about His perfect timing. And one day I knew
that the Lord was calling me to enter into His presence. I knelt down beside my
bed and soon began to feel the anointing coming down so strong I fell to the floor
on my back. Terrific power and strength swept over me again. Then I heard a
VOICE from HEAVEN saying, "Who will break the yoke off of Bud?" It was as if
many people were watching but 1 could see nothing. I was aware of a large
gathering I raised up my right hand and said, "I will." The Lord spoke again and
said, "How?" I said, "The anointing breaks the yoke. I will break the yoke by the
anointing which I am receiving.' The Lord said, "So be it."
In the spirit, I saw myself take a wooden yoke from off my brother's shoulders,
and by strength of the anointing upon me, I snapped it into two pieces like a dried
twig and held them both up toward God. Each end was splintered, and as I
looked at the yoke, I heard a VOICE say, "The POWER of SIN has been broken
over him." This same thing happened with several other names of members of
my family, each one handled the exact way.
Then God said, "Arise and go unto them for the POWER OF SIN has been
BROKEN over them. But you must beware, for the Spirit of Iniquity does work."
The very next morning my sister, Doris, and I were on our way to Alabama to do
all the work the Lord had ready for us.

When we arrived, not only my brother was baptized, but we baptized my two
nephews, a niece, and an employee of his. After they were converted we
baptized five in the Cahaba River. Praise be to the all powerful Father and His
Son, Jesus Christ! God did a tremendous work there! A special bonus awaited
me in Atlanta, where I baptized my own grandson!
The Spirit of Iniquity did work, but being forewarned we were able to overcome it
with spiritual warfare.
This is how God taught us the effectiveness of BINDING a "LIVING WORD" to a
person, once again proving to us that BINDING and LOOSING are the Keys to
the Kingdom!
SCRIPTURAL BASIS FOR THIS WORK
All disobedient spirits are subject to us through God. Why should we neglect this
great tool of "BINDING POWER"? This power will aid us to win, and to keep, and
to nourish the souls of our children and those whom God has laid on our hearts
to minister to. ,
The powers of darkness are using their inferior powers to capture their prey. They
are working their work upon our seed. They are sending forth a "Psychic Word"
of their own to bind a person. Let's not let them have advantage over us. We
must come into our own rights as heirs of God to work the Work of God that He
has called us to do.
WE ARE MINISTERS OF THE WORD. Therefore, when you give them the Word,
go a step further-BIND it around their neck, and then stir up the Word in them
from time to time. It's Scriptural!
The following Scriptures prove beyond any doubt that we, as MINISTERS, can:

It would certainly be proper for us to take certain Scriptures (working in the spirit
realm) and BIND them to our rebellious or wayward seed such as this one from

To KEEP mercy and truth from leaving you. BIND them around your neck: WEAR
them as a necklace, and GIVE them as gifts to a loved one. PUT them around a
son or daughter's neck. WRITE them upon the table of your heart. Do a little
spiritual writing upon the table of your children's and grandchildren's heart, your
lost sons and daughters.
"My son, KEEP my WORDS, and LAY up my COMMANDMENTS and live; and
my law as the apple of thine eye. BIND them upon thy fingers, WRITE them upon
the table of chine heart." Pro. 7:1-3.
"Let thine heart RETAIN my WORDS: KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS and live.
GET wisdom, GET understanding, FORGET it not; neither DECLINE from the
WORDS of my mouth." Pro. 4:4,5.
"I entreat you to: ENTER NOT Into the path of the wicked and GO NOT in the
way of evil men. AVOID It, PASS NOT by it, TURN FROM It, and PASS AWAY."

WRITE them upon the tables of your heart. I GIVE you these "Specific WORDS".
I LAY them upon you. I COMMAND you to hear and keep them. I BIND them
upon your fingers as rings. (Proverbs 7:3) I TEACH them to you.
You must speak and recite them when you sit in your house, when you lie down
or rise up. (Deut. 11:19)
They cannot leave you until their work has been finished.

PROFILE ON THE "SLUGGARD"
A person who has a SPIRIT of LETHARGY was known In the Bible days as a
SLUGGARD. The following describes

some of his problems and characteristics.

He turns, tosses, and is restless at night. Pro. 26:14 He is weary. Pro. 26:15
He tries to justify his laziness or slothfulness. Pro. 20:4 He allows his
possessions to decay and waste; procrastination. Ec. 10:18
He has a manic depressive psychosis; is inert, dreading to face life. Pro. 19.15
He's reduced to begging.
A slothful person has fear. He is slothful. Pro. 26:13 He falls behind in progress
through laziness and a refusal to make an effort.
He is a laggard in paying his debts, or finding a Job; usually lets parents or
relatives support him.
(This connects this SPIRIT of LETHARGY with the SPIRIT of fear. Pro. 19:15)
Several years ago, I was holding a meeting near Pensacola, Fla. One night while
I was praying, the Lord showed me a large snail. The next day as I shared, God
revealed that we were to pray for-THE SLUGGARD" which would be the name of
a person who had the SPIRIT of LETHARGY! Later, I was shown in the
Jerusalem Bible his name and his fruit. All this information was necessary before
I could share it with the Body of Christ.
God revealed to me that the SPIRITS of FEAR and LETHARGY are two spirits
rather than one. When I wrote "HOW TO TRY A SPIRIT," I had a glimpse of this
evil SPIRIT of LETHARGY that works in harmony with the SPIRIT of FEAR, but I
did not know there was another spirit involved.
In the book, I listed its fruit as belonging to the SPIRIT of FEAR: Manic
Depressive Psychosis-inert, inactive, sluggish, dreading to face life, idleness,
melancholia.
The SPIRIT of LETHARGY works on both the mental and the physical:
CATATONIA-a state of mental unresponsiveness; depression.
STUPOR-points to a more lasting deep-seated

state near to that of hibernation. The person may stare blankly with no
expression for days on end. Or sit in the same uncomfortable position for hours.
This SPIRIT alienates, breaks down communication, causes hostility and
delinquency in children by a breakdown of norms or standards. Also, I believe
that smoking marihuana will open the door for the SPIRIT of LETHARGY to enter
in.
We must move quickly to minister to and forgive and comfort a person who has
the SPIRIT of LETHARGY lest he become "swallowed up with overmuch sorrow.
(Melancholia) Sufficient to such a man is this punishment." We do not need to
punish him further.
"Wherefore I beseech you that ye would CONFIRM YOUR LOVE toward him."
"To whom ye FORGIVE any thing, I FORGIVE, also; for I forgave any thing, to
whom I forgave It, for your sakes, forgave I it in the person of Christ;"
"Lest Satan should get an advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his
devices'-I I Cor. 2:8,10,11.
TO LIFT A CURSE that God puts on, we must do it the same way Jesus did. We
must forgive the sin.
"Whosoever SINS YOU FORGIVE, I WILL FORGIVE, ALSO." Jn. 20:23 (Matt.
9:5, II Cor. 2:7-11.)
1. FORGIVE the person of any sins he or his ancestors have sinned that caused
the curse to come.
2. BIND the SPIRIT of LETHARGY, cast him out. People who are bound by the
SPIRIT of LETHARGY are powerless to free themselves. Therefore, it is
necessary that an external force minister deliverance to them such as a Believer
that understands the correct way to lift curses put upon someone by Yahweh
God.

Therefore, causing God to speak through a deed instead of a Word, that deed

19 The Profile of a Person Who Has A Perverse Spirit

MANIFESTATIONS
A PERSON WHO HAS A PERVERSE SPIRIT:
He will not do what another desires or requires.
He will do the contrary thing to what is expected of him. He is petulant; frets
against God and parents.
He is stubborn.
He is unreasonably set against right, reason, and authority. He is willfully
intractable.
He is wayward, disregarding morality and duty. He is self-willed.
He is unruly. He is irritable. He is unthankful. He professes wisdom, but is a fool
in reality. He twists the truth into a lie.
He is lustful and unclean with UNCLEAN SPIRITS. He backbites, witty and quick
cutting remarks that are unkind and cruel to others.

He is without understanding. He Is a covenant breaker.

He is without natural affection,
He Is implacable:
Without mercy, forgiveness, grace, kindness, leniency. pity, pardon, compassion,
forebearance, unfeeling, and inconsiderate for others.
Help lies in a true conversion and decision to make a total commitment to Christ-
BINDING the PERVERSE SPIRIT, and CASTING him out. The person should be
filled with the Holy Spirit. He must submit to God, constantly resist evil thoughts,
daily study the Word and pray. This is the only help for those involved. God will
forgive those who have honestly confessed their sins to Him In true repentance.
I Corinthians 6:9-11 gives this assurance to those who are forgiven:
"Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not Inherit the Kingdom of God? Be not
deceived: neither FORNICATORS, nor IDOLATERS, nor ADULTERERS, no
EFFEMINATE, nor ABUSERS of themselves with mankind, nor THIEVES, nor
COVETOUS, nor DRUNKARDS, nor REVILERS, nor EXTORTIONERS shall
Inherit the KINGDOM OF GOD.
And such were some of you: BUT YE ARE WASHED, BUT YE ARE
SANCTIFIED, BUT YE ARE JUSTIFIED In the NAME of the LORD JESUS and
by the SPIRIT of OUR GOD."
What shall we do to release this person who has REPENTED and I> SEEKING
deliverance?
1. TRY the SPIRIT by its fruit.
2. BIND the PERVERSE SPIRIT before God. 3. CAST him out.

We must refrain, avoid, and resist this evil SPIRIT of -DETRACTION. Pro. 1:15;
4:14,15,16.
OUR WORK IS TO:
TRY the SPIRIT by its fruit. BIND it before God. CAST it out.
SPEAK destruction upon its fruit. MAKE PEACE with thy brother. STRIVE to
keep the bond of peace. MINISTER healing upon the damages done by the evil
SPIRIT (the work of Satan)
PLACE the person under a "Spiritual peace bond."
It is up to US to REPAIR all of these "WRECKED" relations or breaches made by
the SPIRIT of DETRACTION. Ise. 58:12; I Kings 11:27.
We have the MINISTRY of RECONCILIATION to RECONCILE MAN to MAN, and
MAN to GOD.

FRUIT, MANIFESTATIONS, AND PROFILE OF THE UNCLEAN SPIRITS

They have insomnia. Mark 5:5. They cut themselves. Mark 5:5. They are
untamable.
They tear when coming out. Mark 1:26. They have supernatural strength. Mark
5:3. They feel uncomfortable in a Holy orclean atmosphere.

They dwell in grave yards, tombs, and inhabit unclean things and places. Mark
5:3.
They recognize the presence of one having authority and they cry out and
identify them. Mark 3:11; Mark 5:7.
They cry with a loud voice or go out screaming. Mark 1:26; Mark 5:7; Luke 4:34.
They communicate or beg or plead and give information. Mark 5:9,10; Luke 4:34.
They vex the victim, dispute, and afflict. (Webster's definition of vex) Luke 6:18;

They don't like to be alone. They invite crowds of others to occupy a body with

UNCLEAN SPIRITS may compel a victim to sniff such harmful things as:

UNCLEAN SPIRITS are uncomfortable living in clean bodies. homes, and
situations. A person who has an LINCLEAN SPIRIT dwelling in him may be
compelled by their own human spirit to clean themselves by taking several
showers or constantly washing their hands. They may like to scrub floors. wash
clothes. etc.. subconsciously compensating for the UNCLEAN SPIRITS' appetite
for UNCLEAN THINGS. Matt. 12:44,45.

Chapter 22 Costly Misinterpretation

"When the UNCLEAN SPIRIT IS GONE OUT OF A MAN, he walketh through dry
places, seeking rest, and findeth none.
Then HE SAITH, I will RETURN Into MY HOUSE from whence I came out, and
when he Is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.
Then goeth he and taketh with himself SEVEN OTHER SPIRITS more wicked
than himself, and they enter In and dwell there, and the last state of that man Is
worse than the first. Even so shall It be also unto this wicked generation.'-Matt
12:43,44,45.
The BODY of CHRIST has made a COSTLY MISTAKE in misinterpreting
Matthew 12:43,44,45. The mistake was falsely assuming that this UNCLEAN
SPIRIT was BOUND and CAST out of person by a Believed
Nowhere in the text does it indicate that he had been CAST out But it is VERY
CLEAR HE WENT OUT OF HIS HOUSE OF HIS OWN ACCORD! They may
come and go at will unless tested, resisted. and CAST out.
Do you realize how Important this fact is in the ministry of deliverance?
The correct interpretation means that should a Believer BIND and CAST out ANY
SPIRIT, that particular spirit would NEVER be able to OPERATE AGAIN!
If a SPIRIT, who was properly BOUND and CAST out, could go out and get
seven more SPIRITS and bring them in, the person would be seven times worse
off. It would be far better not to have bothered him at alll It would be

unwise to make him angry. It would also cause some of the WORD of GOD to be
nullified. Matt. 16:18;18:18; Mark6:7; 16:17.
Look at our text in Matthew 12:43 and let us learn something more about this.
When the UNCLEAN SPIRIT did go out of his own accord, he walked around
trying to find a comfortable place to rest and finding none very suitable, decided
to return to the person's body where he had been living.
Now ... the person who didn't like living in unclean surroundings had EMPTIED
his house of garbage, SWEPT it out, and DECORATED it nicely. Here we see the
conflicting taste of the two personalities quite clearly.
This person did not seek out the proper authority (The Believer) to CAST out the
unwanted evil UNCLEAN SPIRIT.
SO ... the UNCLEAN SPIRIT finds this clean dwelling very UNCOMFORTABLE
for HIS FOUL TASTE. He goes out and rounds up SEVEN other kinds (Not
UNCLEAN particularly, could be PERVERSE, DEAF and DUMB, etc.,
butdefinitey. more wicked than he). He wants many SPIRITS to help him dirty up
everything as soon as possible. The UNCLEAN SPIRIT does not like to live
alone.
So ... with all SEVEN of them working plus their entourage, the LAST STATE OF
THAT PERSON IS WORSE THAN THE FIRST.
The statement above is a WARNING showing that the victim needs help from
those who have the BINDING AND LOOSING KEYS.
A person unredeemed out of the hand of Satan should not attempt to CAST the
demon out, but he should call on a Believer.
JESUS DESCRIBES A BELIEVER:
"These signs shall follow them that BELIEVE. In MY NAME shall they CAST OUT
DEVILSI THEY SHALL SPEAK with NEW TONGUES"Mark 16:17.
Jesus teaches US to never enter into the Strongman's

you can empty out the mess. sweep up after them, and decorate to suit yourself.
"Or also how can one enter Into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods
except he FIRST BIND the strong man and then he will spoil his house."Matt.

"When a STRONG MAN armed keepeth his palace, his goods are In peace:"
The strong man here is the evil spirit.
"But when a STRONGER THAN HE shall come upon him, and overcome him, he
taketh from him all his armor wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils."-Luke
11:21,22.
The stronger man in this verse is Jesus and the Believer)
THE UNCLEAN SPIRIT CANNOT RETURN WITH SEVEN MORE WICKED
THAN HIMSELF IF CAST OUT BY A BELIEVER!
Satan has mightily used this very FALLACY to frighten some people from ever
seeking DELIVERANCE. They are afraid that they would not be strong enough to
keep their deliverance, causing their condition to become much worse. SEE
HOW THE DEVIL has managed to pervert our ideas about that Scripture to his
own advantage? Beloved. it is the other way around. If the SPIRIT is NOT
BOUND and CAST OUT, then he will come and go as he desires inviting others
to dwell with him! I have failed to pray deliverance for many people because of
the false Idea, BUT NOW, GOD HAS REVEALED THIS TRUTH. Jesus never
asked. "Are you saved? NO ... HE simply gave them a brand new start by
CLEANING HOUSE.
It is true that there are OTHER SPIRITS out there that would like very much to
replace the ousted SPI BITS. They would like to use the body as a dwelling. and
the members as instruments of unrighteousness.
They should be RESISTED. One can have much more

WHAT ARE IDOLS?
IDOLS ARE objects of worship. IDOLS ARE false gods. IDOLS ARE heathen
deity. IDOLS ARE the object of strong affection or devotion. -Websters Dict.
AN IDOL IS AN IMAGE
An imitation of a person or animal molded, cast or carved in the solid form or
likeness, an effigy, statue or as

called by Josephus-a figurine-a form, shape, or outline-a likeness. Togo further, a

PUPPET IS AN IDOL, if it is made animated with a personality or character,
talking and acting. Hab. 2:18,19; Ex. 20:4; Deut. 4:15,18,25.
in both the OLD and the NEW TESTAMENT much is said about the pollutions
and defilements of IDOLATRY, and the "WOES OF IDOLATORS." YET ... when I
look around and see Christians who are surrounded with IDOLS and THINGS in
their homes, around their necks, on their door posts or gates. I cannot help but
wonder if they really know what an IDOL or an IMAGE is!
I feel sure that if they knew the truth about God's opinion of them and the
penalties, they would quickly FLEE FROM IDOLATRY. I Cor. 10:14.
Notice how many Scriptures connect FORNICATION and IDOLATRY in the same
sentence. There are some Christians who wouldn't think of committing
FORNICATION, yet they wouldn't hesitate to commit IDOLATRY. They FALSELY
ASSUME that somehow the blood of Jesus covers IDOLATRY and other
abominations. No. .. IDOLATRY is equally or more of a sin than FORNICATION.
If this were not so, then all of us could partake of FORNICATION-sex sins-and
the blood would automatically keep us washed. If this were true, more of us could
join the New Morality and have "All That" and "Heaven" too. The blood only
cleans after remission of sins. The danger lies in the fact that some NEVER
REMIT THEIR SINS OF IDOLATRY and CONTINUE TO KEEP IDOLS AND
IMAGES. Then again there are those who know about FORNICATION and
IDOLATRY, but "still eat their steaks rare!" (Act. 15:20.)
IDOL PUPPETS
Should the blessed gospel of Jesus Christ be preached by DIVINATION? GOD
FORBID! Yes . . . These pagan practices are creeping into our churches. Some
people are going to Christian Colleges to learn divination by stocks (a chunk of
wood).
"When thou art come into the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee, thou

The Bible says, "There shall not be found one among you that USETH
DIVINATION. THE LORD hath not suffered them so to do."-DeuL 18:9,10,14.
WELL... IF THE LORD THY GOD DID NOT INSTIGATE IT, WHO DID?
"My people ASK COUNSEL at their stocks, and their staff DECLARETH unto
them; for the SPIRIT of WHOREDOMS hath caused them to err and they have
gone a whoring from under their God." Hosea 4:12.
IT IS SPIRITUAL ADULTERY TO GOD! JUST THINK . IDOLS made of wood
declaring advice and doctrines Why are ALL who do such things an abomination
unto the Lord? They BREAK AN IMPORTANT COMMANDMENT and try to
commit it to God as a ministry. It is blatant defiance of the Scriptures.
"Thou shalt not make thee any graven IMAGE, or any LIKENESS of any thing
that Is in Heaven above, or that is In the earth beneath, or that is in the waters
beneath the earth." Deut. 5:8.
"Thou shalt NOT MAKE IT." Deut. 5:8.
"Thou shalt NOT BOW DOWN TO IT." Deut. 5:9.
"Thou shalt not SERVE IT."
"Thou shalt not DESIRE THE SILVER OR GOLD ON IT. Deut. 7:25.
"Thou shalt not TAKE IT UNTO YOU." Deut. 7:25.
"Thou shall not BRING IT INTO YOUR HOME." Deut. 7:26.
What should our attitude be towards all things listed in the Bible as an
abomination? We should utterly DETEST it. We should utterly abhor it. WHY?
God will cause a CURSE to come upon you, your children, grandchildren, and
great grandchildren. Deut. 7:26; Deut. 11:27,28; Deut. 28:15,18;

PUPPETS ARE AN ANIMATED, TALKING IMAGE. God created the Word to be
preached through people whom He created.
Not ... Through IMAGES of PEOPLE whom man created, to be animated and to

beast?
"And he had power to give LIFE unto the IMAGE OF THE BEAST, that the
IMAGE of the BEAST should BOTH SPEAK and cause that as many as would
not worship the IMAGE OF THE BEAST should be killed. Rev. 13:15."
It is my understanding that a FAMILIAR SPIRIT may not be involved until the
MASTERY of the Ancient Art of Magic, "THROWING THE VOICE," is
accomplished, thus giving the gift of divining by the FAMILIAR SPIRIT. They are
then aided and energized by the FAMILIAR SPIRIT. The PRACTITIONER of
SORCERY may not be aware of all the benefits of this evil SPIRIT such as
foretelling, etc.
NONETHELESS ... They have submitted themselves to be a MEDIUM of the

LACIVIOUSNESS-Unbridled lust, wantoness. lewdness, sex obsessed with
insatiable desires. passions, nymphomanic, one who has an UNCLEAN SPIRIT.
(Eph. 4:19.)
FORNICATION is a sin. It is on the UNCLEAN list that we are not to touch, and
are commanded to separate ourselves in order for God to receive us.
"I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with FORNICATORS."-I Cor. 5:9.
We cannot always avoid keeping company with people in the world who commit
FORNICATION. BUT...
"You are not to keep company, If any man that is called a brother be a
FORNICATOR, or COVETEOUS, or an IDOLATER."
"With such an one, NO NOT TO EAT."-I Cor. 5:11

"But FORNICATION, and ALL UNCLEANNESS, or COVETOUSNESS, let it NOT

be once named among you, as becometh Saints."-Eph. 5:3.
"For God hath not called us unto UNCLEANESS, but unto HOLINESS."-I Thes.
4:7.
Anytime there has been an involvement in an UNCLEAN union: male to male,
male to female, or human to animal, it is an abomination to God. The HOLY
BOND causes the marriage bed to be UNDEFILED. Any sexual tie unsanctioned
by God by a Holy Bond of Matrimony is UNCLEAN. The semen itself defiles both
parties. Anyone who joins himself to a prostitute or any other body becomes one
with that person. Other sins are committed outside the body, but to FORNICATE
is to sin against your own body. By entering or joining your body to another by
FORNICATION, you cause the two to become one flesh, actually defiling the
inside of your body. I Cor. 6:13,16,18,19; 7:24.
Therefore, by submitting to a sexual act with another, you give up to that person
a power of control over your body as in I Cor. 7:4, which is meant to belong to a
married partner. Thus giving place for evil influence and psychic control should
the partner in the UNCLEAN act take the advantage over you.
The reason Christ said, "That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the
cause of FORNICATION . . ." is because the sinning mate has rendered himself
UNCLEAN in the eyes of God, breaking the Bond of Holy Matrimony (God's
sanction upon the union). The very copulation of the UNCLEAN partner would
defile the CLEAN one, causing them to commit an Adulterous Act. Adultery
means to mix the CLEAN and the UNCLEAN. The CLEAN does not clean the
UNCLEAN, but the UNCLEAN defiles the CLEAN! Because of this, Christ
recommended the Clean partner to put away the UNCLEAN.
What Christ means in the statement, "What God hath joined together let no man
put assunder" is let no man put it assunder by defiling the marriage bed. He did
not mean for a court not to grant a divorce as falsely assumed. In fact, Jesus
recommended a writing of divorcement for FORNICATION and ADULTERY,
spiritual or physical. Matt. 5:31;

I n the case of FORNICATION or ADULTERY, the CLEAN partner would actually
become unequally yoked with an Unbeliever, DEFILING THE ENTIRE FAMILY,
THUS CREATING A FILTHY HABITATION FOR UNCLEAN SPIRITS, causing a
curse to be visited unto the third and fourth generation until the penalty is served
or lifted by repentance. Of course should the FORNICATOR repent and be
cleansed by the BLOOD shed for the remission of sins, then it is possible God
would reinstate the Holy or cleansed union.
ABSTAIN FROM THINGS STRANGLED
When animals are strangled the BLOOD remains in the bodies contrary to Gods
command in Leviticus 17:10-14. The slaughter houses of today still consider it
desirable to inject solutions that cause the BLOOD to remain in meat. This
makes the meat "Redder and Tastier."
ABSTAIN FROM BLOOD
WHY?
THE LIFE OF THE BEAST IS IN THE BLOOD. Gen. 9:4,6; Lev. 17:10-15; Deut.
12:23,24.
"It shall be a PERPETUAL STATUTE for your generations throughout all your
dwelling, THAT YE EAT NEITHER FAT NOR BLOOD."
-Lev. 3:17.
THIS IS A PERPETUAL-EVERLASTING, NEVER ENDING-COMMAND FROM
GOD.
"Thou shalt NOT EAT IT. That it will go well with thee. And with thy children after
thee."-Deut. 12:28.
Thereby indicating that INHERITED DISEASES AND TRAITS WOULD BE
PASSED TO FUTURE GENERATIONS.
"The SOUL THAT EATS IT WILL BE CUT OFF FROM THE LAND."-Lev. 7:27.
BLOOD may be removed from meat by soaking in salted water. Ali visible fat may
be removed also.

Chapter 25
Example of an Unclean Spirit Possession

A lady who was separated from her husband for many years was possessed at
will by an evil spirit. This spirit talked to her. He tried to boss or guide her. She
claimed that he would overpower her and sexually abuse her as he pleased from
within her body. She was on the verge of insanity and had just about given up
hope, since she had sought help from all possible sources. We tried everything
we knew about deliverance, without lasting results.
There was a great warfare with the UNCLEAN SPIRIT. He claimed absolute
rights to possess her. We turned it over to God. having done all that we could.
Then I received DISCERNING OF SPIRITS on it. I clearly saw the entire situation
as it was. The separated mate who had never remarried was still exercising his
rights over her body through psychic power. He had an UNCLEAN SPIRIT. He
also did supernatural (divined) things by a Familiar Spirit. He, himself. was the
enemy or tormentor! The marriage was an unsanctioned union to begin with. Her
submission to him gave him power over her body. By fantasism, witchcraft, etc..
he was assaulting her.
After receiving this knowledge. we were able to BIND the Living Evil Spirit by
name, LOOSING her from domination by him, the UNCLEAN SPIRIT, and the
Familiar Spirit, who carried out the man's evil desire upon her. (For further study
see my book, HOW TO CONDUCT SPIRITUAL WARFARE, pgs.91-96.)
I believe where a living evil spirit is involved, such as a sorcerer, warlock. witch,
necromancer, etc., that the living spirit is always the Strongman; that unless he is
BOUND,

he will call in other spirits to aid him, unless we BIND the spirits he is presently
using. Matt 12:29.
CASE TWO
A young man confessed a homosexual relationship while he was pastoring a
church. He was convicted in a service, and came forward for deliverance. He did
get a spectacular deliverance from the Perverse Spirit.
Later, he called and said that he was actually experiencing asexual attack while
asleep, and that he awakened with an UNCLEAN feeling.
At the time of his deliverance, I did not have the full revelation I have now on
UNCLEAN SPIRITS. I told him then about the control of the other human spirit
and to resist according to the direction in the prayer of release. By resisting the
evil spirit in the proper way, he could be f reed.
It is necessary to try the spirits by the fruit so we might know exactly who to bind.
The enemy or strongman who is directing the assault against us may not be
disembodied after all, but just the same is an evil spirit using Satanic aid.
As Jesus said we must first BIND the Strongman in each battle before we
attempt to destroy his goods. If we go into his house, begin to BIND his aids, his
army, and DESTROY his goods, he will only call in more help, reorganize, and
launch out again.
In the above case, there were three spirits to be bound: The Warlock. The
UNCLEAN, and The Perverse. Secondly, DESTRUCTION should be spoken
against all the fruit listed under the spirits name (See my book, HOW TO TRY A
SPIRIT). Thirdly, we should administer the necessary benefits of God upon them:
Salvation, Water Baptism, healing, love, joy, peace, etc., strengthening them as
needed.
The UNCLEAN SPIRIT strongman is in the singular, yet when he speaks, he
reveals there are others with him in the body. He says US and WE. However, the
scripture reveals that Jesus only commanded the one UNCLEAN SPIRIT to
come out of him, thus indicating that the

Our Sea of Forgetfulness, or His?

"For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling the
UNCLEAN, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:
How much more shall the BLOOD OF CHRIST, who through the eternal Spirit
offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to
serve the Living God?"-Heb. 9:13,14.
THE CONDITIONS SET FORTH IN THE BIBLE FOR REPENTANCE OF SINS
ARE:
1. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT 2. CONFESSION
3. REMISSION 4. DEPARTURE
ACKNOWLEDGMENT
We must acknowledge the act, face up to it, and admit that we committed it. For
some, it is very hard to admit guilt.
Some sins that we have committed in our past are so detestable to us that we
have buried them in some dark region of our minds. We deliberately refuse to
pull them out and confess them to Jesus, Our High Priest. We continually ignore
them by putting them into our own Sea of Forgetfulness.

Psychologists are aware of this tact. Sometimes It takes them years tog et their
patients to face up to these things in their past. Some prefer oblivion in an
institution, rather than having these things uncovered.
Jesus knows that if these hidden, buried sins are not dug up and confessed, they
can fester and become malignant UNCONFESSED SIN BECOMES DEADLY. It
is a known fact that spirits causing cancer and arthritis definitely root and flourish
in this fertile ground.
Sometimes we may seek to skim over such sins, confessing them in a lump
package, such as "Forgive me for all my sins." Then we wonder why our
channels to God still remain blocked.
I truly feel that before we can receive complete deliverance from all these spirits
that occupy and thrive in our bodies. we must bring each of these sins out into
the light. Jesus said. "That if we would be faithful to confess them, He would be
faithful to forgive them, and even though they be as scarlet, He would wash them
as white as snow." He will put them into His Sea of Forgetfulness and Remember
them against you NO MORE!
CONFESSION
The Bible says, "Let a man examine himself." "Judge yourself, face up to your
faults and sins, past and present."
GO BACK IN YOUR LIFE, dig up those unspeakable acts and pull them out.
Face them down-every last one of them. Examine them under God's Gospel
Light. CONFESS THEM HONESTLY TO GOD. Then REMIT them by transferring
them from your own Sea of Forgetfulness into God's Sea of Forgetfulness.
Then, DEPART and STOP SINNING. This is definitely the path to a pure heart,
whereby you may see God. This method will empty the couches of the
psychologist and the tables of the physicians. Most people, especially Christians.
mishandle their own wrong acts. They deliberately utilize a type of amnesia to
forget. The forgetfulness is so effective, that they refuse to face up to their past or
recent sins. This condition exists in many Christians. Some of them commit

sins repeatedly, without seeming to notice, or ever come to any form of
repentance. They stumble on and on, oblivious to any wrong doing to the extent
that we wonder how they get by with it. The sad thing is that they don't.
There is only one way to go, and that is "TH E WAY" that was opened up for us
by Jesus into the Presence of God. If they don't go that way, they go their own
way, and it won't get them to the same place. A person who has an unconfessed
sin in his memory can never be sure that it will not suddenly be exposed in the
Light of God's Truth. Trivial incidents will arouse fears in the sleeping conscience.
Fears that "Some nothing," a chance word, the look on a face-a Word of
Knowledge may open the grave where the sin still lies. The old sin is then vividly
exposed as if done yesterday.
REMISSION
THE BLOOD IS SHED FOR THE REMISSION OF CONFESSED SIN! If one
doesn't acknowledge the sin and give it up. there is no BLOOD-COVENANT in
effect for those particular unconfessed sins.
Have you ever known of someone who confessed a sin such as fornication or
idolatry and then has gone ahead committing the same sin over and over again
as if that confession without remission were sufficient to cover all their future
sins? CONFESSION without REMISSION amounts only to ADMISSION. It does
not constitute OMISSION!
REMITTANCE is to transmit or to transfer our sin from us to the Lord-to hand it
over-to give it up-to stop it-to quit it. Now, some of us when we face up to these
sins and confess them are not willing to forgive ourselves. We think we may have
committed an unpardonable sin; therefore we refuse to REMIT it, and to accept
such grace!
Without these four acts: ACKNOWLEDGEMENT, CONFESSION, REMITTANCE,
and DEPARTURE on our part, Jesus is under no obligation to us.

DEPARTURE
"DEPART YE. DEPART YE, go ye out from thence, TOUCH NO UNCLEAN
THING, go ye out of the midst of her, BE YE CLEAN, that bear the VESSELS of
the Lord."- Isa. 52:11.
-Let everyone that nameth the name of Christ DEPART from iniquities.
"GO and SIN NO MORE!"
"Wherefore COME OUT FROM AMONG THEM and BE YE SEPARATE, saith the
Lord, and TOUCH NOT THE UNCLEAN THING and I WILL RECEIVE YOU." II
Cor. 6:16,17.
I suggest that each of us begin this process of forgiveness and deliverance. Let
us submit ourselves to the Spirit of God that He may search out these hidden
sins and bring them into the light. As these works of darkness are exposed, write
your confession down, just what you are guilty of, ACKNOWLEDGE and
CONFESS it.
ASK Jesus to forgive you. FORGIVE all involved and yourself. MAKE restitution
where possible. MEND broken relationships where possible; perhaps a note or a
phone call will do if you cannot go to them.
THEN
BI NO and CAST out any evil spirits that may be there, TRY them by their fruit.
CALL them by their proper name. SPEAK destruction to their fruit.
THEY WILL FLEE FROM YOU!

Chapter 27
God's Solution for Complete Freedom

FIRST WE:
ACKNOWLEDGE CONFESS REPENT REMIT DEPART ... FROM UNCLEAN
SINS
The sins are cleansed by the BLOOD: That takes care of the sins, washing them
as "White as Snow."
What do we do about the UNCLEAN SPIRITS that came in because of the sins?
Another solution is provided for them: It is the Authority of the Believer that
makes spirits subject to them by the use of the two Keys of the Kingdom-
BINDING and LOOSING.
NOW . . . if our sins are cleansed by the BLOOD and the UNCLEAN SPIRITS
are BOUND and CAST OUT. WHAT IS LEFT? The defilement or uncleanliness
that the UNCLEAN SPIRITS produced: the Germs, the Filth, and the Mess! We
do our part with the dirt and germs by soap and water, disinfectant, and the use
of salve for the cuts, tears, and bruises.
In the examples given earlier in the book (Matt. 12:4345) we see that the man
with the UNCLEAN SPIRIT cleaned up his life. He emptied the trash, swept, and
garnished or decorated! He did the physical work of cleansing, but not the
repentance, nor the Binding and Loosing part, only to have the irate UNCLEAN
SPIRIT go out and bring seven more wicked than himself to help dirty it up again!

1. Anoint with oil
2. Lay on hands
3. Pray the prayer of faith
GOD'S PART THEN WOULD BE TO RAISE THEM UP!
It needs to be pointed out that after we have scripturally obeyed all of the proper
ministry we are responsible for. God will do what He has stated as His part, thus
obtaining proper results.
