Carnauba Wax T3/L

Introduction:
Carnauba Wax is a hard wax obtained from the leaves of the Copernicia Prunifera which is native and
only grown in north eastern Brazil.
Carnauba Wax acts as an internal lubricant, facilitating the incorporation and dispersion of the non-
rubber ingredients.
Carnauba Wax will migrate to the surface of the rubber, due to its low melting point, and act as a
release layer.

Uses:
Carnauba Wax has a wide range of uses in many industries:

Polish Industry
Food Industry (chewing gum, gravy, sauces, sweets)
Pharmaceutical Industry (tablet coating agent.)
Cosmetic Industry
Rubber Industry (process aid and mill/ mould release agent.)
