1. INTRODUCTION:
A team from the local Municipal Officials specifically from the Office of
the Municipal Building Official/ Municipal Planning and Development
Coordinator initially conducted an ocular inspection in the area and
surveyed the damages and verified by DPWH Manila Team for the
assessment on the reported damages. Further, declared that some buildings
are deemed dangerous and not safe for occupancy. Thus, there is an urgent
need for a new school building with standard classroom size to cater the
needs of the displaced students. Please see attached Inspection and Survey
on damages reports.
The Proposed building would integrate the green design concept which
will house the 9-units (A= 7.00 x 9.00 sq. mts.) per classroom, 1-unit (5.00
x7.00 sq.mts) laboratory room, on a 1-storey building with total ground
floorarea of 630sq.mts. with additional spaces for 1 unit (4.00 x 5.00 sq.mts.
minimum floor area) utility/storage room, a rainwater catchment tank,
comfort room for male (with urinal) & female based on the standard ratio
required and 3.00 mts. min.width for hallways/alleys.
