    Ammeter Scale Detail

    Normal Scale shall cover approx. 80% of


    the scale length and the remaining 20%
    scale length shall have cramped scale from
    100% to 600% of C.T. Primary rating

    INSPECTION & TESTING


    All routine tests according to the relevant Indian standards shall be carried out and copies of
    certificates shall be submitted for approval.
    Main acceptance tests shall be as follows:
    a)

    General visual inspection.

    b)

    Dimensional inspection.

    c)

    Verification of mechanical and electrical operations.

    d)

    Dielectric tests.

    Note

    Moving Iron ammeter having an accuracy class of 1.5 shall be incorporated in the control
    station for Motors rated 7.5 KW & above. These shall be suitable for 1 ampere secondary C.T.
    Ammeter front glass shall be toughened (type A glass).

    Push buttons shall be wired up to the terminal block such that one outgoing wire is connected to
    any terminal and with atleast 20% spare terminal with a min. of two terminal.

    Approval certificates from statutory authorities like CMRS & DGMS shall be submitted indicating
    suitability of flame proof worthiness in Hazardous Area Locations.
