    Dear Robert Temme, P.E.,
    I was so excited when I saw that AET is offering an internship in the construction
    material testing section. With a previous 6 month co-op experience under my belt
    in the geotechnical industry, I would be able to offer a lot to the company.
    My resume already shows the variety of classes that I have taken at SDSM&T but
    the hands on experience that I got from working with a geotechnical company in
    North Dakota makes me a suitable candidate for the job. Soil testing and concrete
    material testing is what I gained most of my experience in and upon seeing that
    you prefer candidates with some prior construction and geotechnical made me
    interested in this opportunity. The knowledge of software such as AutoCAD and
    ArcGIS should help me handle design and surveying responsibilities too. Being a
    foreigner, it was a challenge to lead such a different way of life he in the US but I
    was able to adapt quickly and then made my way into the work force. Thus I can
    move to various locations for projects with no problem at all.
    My involvement in various organization at school has helped me get better me at
    working with people to get attain goals. This trait would assist me to complete
    tasks successfully given by my supervisor.
    All in all, I am confident that you would consider me for an interview where I can
    demonstrate my expertise, mentioned in the attached resume, at length. I will
