C-2152 Modification Procedure


When you have this trouble code C2152, please use this modified part from now on.
{ NEW PART NUMBER } :
A02E-5033-01 DETECTING PLATE

<NOTE>
* Proceed to replace the BRACKET if 'C-2152' still occur after replace this DETECTING PLATE.

<Procedure>
1. Removing Transfer Belt unit
Turn off the main switch and putting Transfer Belt unit on the table after removing Transfer Belt unit from MFP.

NOTE !
The rollers must be
upward

<NOTE>
a. The transfer roller side must be upward when putting it on the table for preventing the damage of the Belt.
b. Make sure that there is no screw and the like on the table.

2. Change the roller position to Pressure position


Rotating Pressure/Release Gear 'B' and change to Pressure position. (The rotating direction does not matter.)
This is Pressure position.

The hole must be up and


down position accurately.

Do not lose this pin.

3. Removing the Metal Plate and replace Detecting Plate to modified one
Removing the Screw 'A', E-ring, Gear 'B' <Fig. D>, Pin<fig. E> and Metal plate 'C'.
Removing M2 screw from the Metal plate and replace Detecting Plate 'D' to modified one.

4. Putting the Metal plate to Transfer Belt unit


Putting the Metal plate to Transfer Belt unit.

a. The white color plastic parts must be seen when putting the Metal plate.
Rotating the Pressure/Release Gear and change the rollers to Release position after putting the screw, E-ring, pin
and gear. Make sure that the rollers are Release position.

a. If the setting is incorrect, the rollers do not move to Release position.

5. Putting the Transfer Belt unit to MFP

a. Make sure that the Transfer Belt and the MFP side must be in gear.

6. Checking procedure after setting the Transfer Belt unit <IMPORTANT>


a. Turn on the main SW.
b. Open the front door when MFP start 'Stabilizing Image' for resetting Pressure/Release position record in MFP.
C. Close the front door.
<NOTE> IMPORTANT
If you forget above procedure,
a. Color images are not printed. (BK is no problem)
b. First Transfer Rollers for Y,M,C pressured when
B/W printing and the PC drum will be damaged.

Finally, make sure whether 'C-2152' is solved. If not, proceed to replace the BRACKET as mentioned the beginning of
this procedure.
