This exam will be a mixture of matching, written
identifications, and a group essay.
Identifications: Ten identifications will be chosen for the mini-exam. Four
will be written, six will be matching. A correct answer for the written ids will
consist of two or three sentences which (1) define the term; and (2) indicate
its significance to this class. Without a named significance, your id can score
no higher than 75% (10 points)

Essays: Take home group essays. Each group will choose one of the following
two essays. Each group will produce one, spotless, cited, two-page, doublespaced, brilliantly argued essay drawing on biblical and secondary readings. In
the header list each member of the group (with one CPO) to be turned in on
exam day. Each member of the group will receive the same final grade. And if
there is a member of your group who is not pulling their weight, anonymous
ratting is required.
