Ingredients

2 lbs chicken, cut into serving pieces

1 large potato, quartered

1 large carrot, sliced

1 large bell pepper, sliced

1 cup green peas

8 ounces tomato sauce

4 cloves garlic, minced

4 pieces hotdogs, sliced

1 medium onion, diced

1 cups chicken broth or stock

2 pieces dried bay leaves

1 teaspoon granulated white sugar

4 tablespoons cooking oil

Salt and ground black pepper to taste

Instructions
1.

Pour-in cooking oil in a cooking pot or casserole then apply heat.

2.

Pan-fry the chicken until the color turns light brown (about 3 minutes per side).

3.

Remove the chicken from the cooking pot.

4.

On the same cooking pot, saut garlic and onions.

5.

Put-in the sliced hotdogs and pan-fried chicken then cook for a minute.

6.

Pour-in tomato sauce and chicken stock then add bay leaves. Simmer for 30 to 40 minutes.

7.

Add the potato and carrots then simmer for 7 minutes or until the vegetables are soft.

8.

Put-in the bell pepper, green peas, salt, sugar, and ground black pepper then cook for 3 minutes
more.

9.

Turn-off heat then transfer to a serving plate.

10.

Serve with steamed rice. Share and enjoy!

Buffalo Chicken Wings Recipe

Serves: 4

Ingredients

12 pieces chicken wings

teaspoon chili powder

cup all-purpose four

teaspoon paprika

5 tablespoons butter

3 tablespoons hot sauce

teaspoon black pepper

teaspoon salt

teaspoon garlic powder

4 cups cooking oil

Instructions
1.

Combine four, chili powder, salt, and paprika in a mixing bowl. Mix well.

2.

Put the chicken in the mixing bowl and coat with the four mixture.

3.

Heat a cooking pot and pour-in cooking oil.

4.

Deep fry the chicken wings until golden brown. Set aside.

5.

Melt the butter in a sauce pan.

6.

Put-in hot sauce, ground black pepper, and garlic powder. Stir.

7.

Pour-in the butter mixture over the fried chicken wings. Mix to distribute the sauce evenly.

8.

Transfer on a serving plate.

9.

Serve with your favorite dip. Share and enjoy!

Spicy Chicken in Coconut Milk (Ginataang Manok)

Ingredients

1 lb. chicken cut into serving pieces

10 pieces spicy red chili

2 pieces spicy green pepper

14 ounces coconut cream

2 teaspoons turmeric powder

1 cup mooring (malunggay) leaves

1 thumb ginger, julienne

4 cloves garlic, crushed

1 medium red onion, sliced

chicken cube

2 tablespoons fish sauce

Instructions
1.

Heat a cooking pot and then pour-in the coconut cream.

2.

Add ginger, garlic, and onion. Stir and let boil.

3.

Put-in the chicken. Let the liquid reboil.

4.

Add the chili and turmeric powder. Stir. Cover and simmer for 35 minutes.

5.

Add the mooring leaves (malunggay). Stir and cook for 5 minutes.

6.

Add the fish sauce. Stir and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.

7.

Transfer to a serving bowl. Serve.

Yellow Arroz Caldo Recipe

Ingredients

1 lb. chicken, chopped into serving pieces

6 cups chicken broth

2 cups water

1 package (8oz.) Arroz Amarillo (yellow rice)

6 cloves garlic, crushed

1 medium yellow onion, chopped

1 Onion powder

cup chopped green onions

1 teaspoon Garlic powder

1 teaspoon Paprika

teaspoon Ground black pepper

2 teaspoons salt

Instruction
1.

Heat the cooking oil in a cooking pot. Once the oil gets hot, put the garlic in and then cook in low
to medium heat until the garlic turns light brown.

2.

Stir-in the onion. Continue to cook until the onion gets soft.

3.

Add the chicken. Stir and then cook for 3 to 5 minutes.

4.

Gradually add the yellow rice. Stir. Cook for 2 minutes.Pour-in the chicken broth and water. Stir.

5.

Add the onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, ground black pepper, and salt. Continue to cook in
medium heat for 20 to 30 minutes. Cover the cooking pot and stir every 5 minutes or if needed. You
can add more water or chicken broth if the liquid gets absorbed quickly by the rice. Add more salt
only if needed.

6.

Transfer to a serving bowl. Top with green onions. Serve with lime or calamansi.
