Dear Parents,
Everyone is safe and well after our various CWW experiences both on and off campus. We
are sure students and faculty will all sleep well tonight! Photos of the various learning activities are being compiled and we will share photos in next weeks bulletin. Its been a busy end
to the week so well keep our announcements short and sweet!

Parent Teacher Conferences:
Online sign-up system allows parents to sign up for 4 additional conferences.
COMING UP IN SOON:

MS Parent Teacher Conferences:
Time: 1:00 - 6:00 p.m. each day
Please see the email that was sent home last week from the MS Office titled
MS Parent Teacher Conferences
This was emailed to all parents and contains all the necessary details parents
need to make their online sign-ups.
If you did not receive this, check your spam folder or email the MS Office.

Math Honors Program Parent Coffee:
Time: 7:30 - 8:15 a.m.
Location: AMR
Focus: Math Honors Student Profile and Application Process
Audience: Current G6 - G8 parents interested in their child applying to Math
Honors and current G7 and G8 parents who have Math Honors students.
NEED TO KNOW:
Parent Teacher Conferences
Please remember to sign up for the second round of PTCs. The system will
allow parents to book 4 additional conference slots as of Monday, October
10th. The system will close on Saturday, October 15th at 6:00 p.m. and parents will be unable to sign up online after this deadline.
Parents will receive a confirmation email that summarizes their PTC schedule
on Sunday, October 15th by 6:30 p.m.
Parents need to bring this with them to the PTCs.
If parents cannot make the PTCs, we kindly ask that you contact the MS Office
so we can help arrange follow-up times in November.

When both parents are going to be
away temporarily, It is important for
them to notify the Middle School
Office in advance, stating who will be
responsible for the student and who
the school should contact in case of
emergency. Domestic helpers or
emergency contacts in Powerschool
do not qualify as guardians. For more

Team selection for IASAS S1 teams has been announced this


week. All athletes who received a travel packet should have
submitted your passport and documents to Joan at ATAC
office by Thursday Oct 6th.

Schedules for S2 sports are now posted at links below for after
the Fall break -Basketball/Tennis,/Rugby/Touch for MS and

ES/MS Rifa Soccer festival finals update- Congratulations to
the following ISM teams who will play in the finals tomorrow.
C1 team will play at BSM 8am start.
E1 and G1 and G2 teams will play at ISM 8am start.
Training will continue for all teams with the season ending the
week of Oct 10-14. For ES/MS soccer- Festival information can

Well done to our MS/HS XC runners for a great effort at Faith
last Saturday morning. Full results can be found at http://

First housing request for ATAC- Nov 18-20 ISM will host the
boys pre IASAS tennis exchange. We will have 60 male tennis
players arrive on Fri Nov 18 to play Friday evening and all
day Saturday then depart Sunday morning Nov 20. If you can
house a pair of tennis players for this event it would be greatly

where our Bearcat teams will be playing. The ATAC(Athletics)

For our All Year Round teams- Wall Climbing, Chess, Judo, TKD,
Aikido, Table Tennis -As these programs are year round it is
possible for students to join during the year as long as space is

Please note the practice times for ATAC programs for SY 16-17
are as follows: ATAC all year round teams- 3:15-4:30. For our
Sailfish swim team program please check the Sailfish blog for

ATAC Gymnastics team practices 3:10-4:50 M/W/F
All HS seasonal teams practice from 3:05- 4:50pm on their respective practice afternoons. MS seasonal teams practice
from 3:15-4:45pm.
In order to clear the campus prior to 5pm all after school programs will conclude by 4:50pm or earlier. The last bus
is 4:55pm this is due to the ever increasing traffic concerns in
our area.

We will also be calling for community support to host for IASAS


Basketball (Feb 1-5 need 100 beds) and for IASAS Badminton
