Both can speak tagalog and Ilocano but prefers tagalog as a medium of
instructions. Both client have no vices. Both have no visual and hearing disabilities. Couple consider the family as important. Both consider health and family as
important. Consider doing chores and garden works as a form of exercise. Diet usually consist of fruits and vegetables, meat or fish with rice. The father is a gardener
and the mother is a house wife but earns extra income selling turon and lumpia. Father describe himself as a responsible family man and wife describe herself as a
caring mother. Mother stays at home and takes good care of the children and does most of the chores at home. They usually go to the health center for check up.

gumamit ng pamfamily planning, tama na muna itong tatlo. Also wife stated that maganda daw ang natural methods sabi nila kasi madali lang gawin mga ito. Both

Learning style: Preggy Sia took up education but was only able to finish second year and Lito Sia was high school grad. Both of them admit they learn better when
they see and observe things and they both listened to the radio if the topic is all about family planning. The father likes reading tabloid magazines, good in decision
making and problem solving. The mother likes details and concrete materials,good in analysis, and used to read tagalog pocketbooks before.Between 2-4 pm is the time
when the children are taking a nap and a good time for the couple to learn.

LEARNING CONTENT
FAMILY PLANNING- refers to the factors that may be considered by a couple in a committed relationship and and raise them, besides many other considerations. If
sexually active, family planning may involve the use of contraception and other techniques to control the timing of reproduction. Other techniques each individual
involved in deciding if and when to have children. Though rarely articulated, family planning may involve consideration of the number of children a couple wish to have
as well as the age at which they wish to have them. These matters are obviously influenced by external factors such as marital situation, career considerations, financial
position, any disabilities that may affect their ability to have children commonly used include sexuality education,[3][4] prevention and management of sexually
transmitted infections,[3] pre-conception counseling[3] and management, and infertility management.
ADVANTAGESAccording to the California Department of Health Services Office of Family Planning, family planning reduces the number of unplanned pregnancies and abortions
among women, and allows women the opportunity to choose when the time is right to have a child. Family planning gives women the option to wait until they are
financially able to care for a child, and gives them time to pursue educational and employment goals without worrying about the financial burden of an unplanned
pregnancy.

DISADVANTAGESThe side effects of hormonal birth control may stand out as a disadvantage for some women. While many women regularly use contraception without experiencing side
effects, complications can and do occur. The most common side effects associated with hormonal contraception include weight gain, headaches, dizziness and nausea.
Less common but more serious side effects include stroke, blood clots and ectopic pregnancy.
Natural family planning does not protect against STIs such as chlamydia or HIV.
You will need to avoid sex, or use contraception such as condoms, during the time you might get pregnant, which some couples can find difficult.
If you do decide to abstain, there can sometimes be up to 16 days during which you cannot have sex, depending on your cycle.
It can be much less effective than other methods of contraception. Depending on how accurately it is used, as many as one in four women using natural family planning
may get pregnant.
It will not work without the continuing commitment and co-operation of both you and your partner.
It can take several menstrual cycles before you become confident in identifying your fertile time. During this time, you will have to use barrier contraception, such as
condoms.
You will need to keep a daily record of your fertility signs.
METHODSCERVICAL MUCUS
The cervical mucus method, also called the ovulation method and the Billings ovulation method, is a type of natural family planning also known as fertility awarenessbased methods.
The cervical mucus method is based on careful observation of mucus patterns during the course of your menstrual cycle. Before ovulation, cervical secretions change
creating an environment that helps sperm travel through the cervix, uterus and fallopian tubes to the egg. By recognizing the changing characteristics of your cervical
mucus, you can predict when you'll ovulate. In turn, this may help you determine when you're most likely to conceive.
If you're hoping to get pregnant, you can use the cervical mucus method to determine the best days to have sex. Similarly, if you're hoping to avoid pregnancy, you can
use the cervical mucus method to determine which days to avoid unprotected sex.
Using the cervical mucus method for birth control requires motivation and diligence. If you don't want to conceive, you and your partner must avoid having sex or use a
barrier method of contraception during your fertile days each month.
On any ordinary calendar, mark the day when your period first begins as Day 1 and circle it. Then mark the same day of the week, one week later, as Day 8 and circle it.
Count forward to Day 19 and circle it. Draw a solid line through days 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, and 19. For these twelve days (days 8 through 19), abstain
from all sexual intercourse, if you wish to avoid conception.
Day 8 through day 19 are days of increased fertility and increased chance of conception. Abstain from sexual intercourse on days 8 through 19 in order to avoid
conception.
All other days within each cycle present a low risk of conception. You do not need to abstain from sexual intercourse on days 1 through 7, nor on day 20 through the end
of each cycle.
When your next period begins, mark that day as Day 1 of the next cycle. Then go back to the previous cycle on the calendar and count the total number of days in the
previous cycle.
Put a square around the total number of days for each cycle. So if a cycle was 30 days long, the last day will be marked 30. Keep these calendar pages, so that you have
a record of how long each cycle was. Only one cycle per year can be less than 26 days, or more than 32 days.
If more than one cycle per year was shorter than 26 days or longer than 32 days, use a different method of Natural Family Planning.
