    eSight Storage Manager

    Huawei eSight Storage Manager is storage resource management


    software designed for the centralized O&M of storage devices
    at enterprise data centers. This software implements unified
    management of storage devices from different vendors, and
    provides functions such as global topology display, capacity
    analysis, performance analysis, health assessment, fault locating,
    and end-to-end mapping views of host applications and storage
    devices. The storage O&M efficiency is greatly improved with
    this software. This software brings the following benefits: 1).
    Simplifies device management by centrally managing storage
    devices of different vendors and models. 2). Facilitates fault
    locating by graphically showing faults generated on disks, ports,
    power modules, fan modules, LUNs, and resource pools. 3).
    Improves storage resource use efficiency by analyzing the status
    quo and utilization trend of the storage space allocated to host
    applications, host IOPS, and latency.

    Alarm analysis, alarm customization, browsing of current alarms, alarm statistics, alarm operations, query of historical alarms, browsing of
    events and masked alarms, alarm consolidation, alarm masking, and remote alarm notification
    Basic performance monitoring, traffic performance monitoring, performance indicator customization, default monitoring indicators,
    performance monitoring settings and management, performance monitoring template settings, performance alarm threshold settings, and
    query of historical performance statistics
    One software license per entry-level, mid-range, and high-end Huawei storage device, per big data storage node, and per heterogeneous storage device
    The eSight can manage storage devices, servers, network devices (routers, switches, and firewalls), WLANs, UC devices (including IP phones),
    and video surveillance devices. The management of each type of devices requires a license.
