The first individual owns a motor vehicle that was brought to the business of the second individual, a mechanic, for rebuilding work. During the rebuild, the existing engine/chassis stampings were ground off and replaced with new stampings in the same location and style. After completing the rebuild work, the mechanic delivered the engine/chassis back to the owner and installed it in their motor vehicle. This affidavit attests to the truth of these events regarding the rebuild and re-stamping of the engine/chassis.
