Welcome to Inspiration Study Bible and its companion volumes. There are two major ways that users can be benefitted by this Bible and its commentary volumes: first, by reading the Bible and following the center column links to the comments of the companion volumes; secondly, by systematically reading page by page through the companion volumes with reference to the noted Scripture references. Both methods will prove to be of great spiritual stimulation and benefit. The reader can make sticky notes in the Bible or any other of the volumes and type in or paste into them desired material from any source. These electronic books are designed to operate with the worldwide available, free, Adobe Reader program. The Adobe Reader platform provides many advanced features for ease and enjoyment in reading. General Instructions:
it in Adobe Reader. Set its Window to fill about one-half of the screen and place it on one side of the screen. Double click the center-referenced pdf volumes which you have, and place them, one in front of the other, on the other side of the screen. Set Adobe Reader to oprn the reference books in their own window and not in the Bibles window which will delete the Bible. To do this, go to Reader,s Edit/Preferences/Documents and there you will see a small box labeled Open cross document links in same window. Be sure that this box is not checked. This applies to Adobe Reader X and XI as of November 2012. Earlier versions of the Reader such as VII, worked well opening all books in the same window. Their Previous View button would take them back to a previous document. But this button in later versions only takes you back to previous pages in the same document. Importand Note: For the links of the referenced books to operate, the file name of each respective book must consist only of the following 2 or 3 letters in cap form, followed by the extention .pdf. Thus: Patriarchs and Prophets is: PP.pdf Prophets and Kings is: PK.pdf The Desire of Ages is: DA.pdf The Acts of the Apostles is: AA.pdf The Great Controversy is: GC.pdf Christs Object Lessons is: COL.pdf The Ministry of Healing is: MH.pdf Steps to Christ is: SC.pdf Thoughts From the Mount of Blessing is: MB.pdf Bible Readings for the Home Circle is: BR.pdf Be sure to change any different file name to just the above 2 or 3 letter name. Comments: Whenever you underline or highlight text, or when you make a personal popup note, be sure to save the book file when you close it in order to save (not lose) your comments. Bookmarks: This term refers in Adobe language to a left margin tab in Adobe Reader that opens up to give access to all of the electronic links within each book. Here you find quick links to book sections, chapters, illustrations, original pagination, etc. These bookmarks are in an expanding format. A plus sign (+) at the left of a title indicates that there are additional hidden titles. A left click on the plus sign turns it into a negative sign (-) and opens the full list of titles. A click on a negative sign collapses that section. Personal Bookmark: This refers to a marker that the user can place to indicate where to begin reading the next time. With your Note tool, place a Note (Comment) on the page you desire to return to. Type Bookmark (or any easy-to-remember word or phrase) on it. Save your file when you close the book. When you desire to return, click on Edit, then Search. In the Search window, type in Bookmark (or whatever word or phrase you used), check Include comments, then click Search. This opens the publication to your marked page. If desired, delete this old bookmark and create a new one where you next stop reading. Purchasers Rights: The text and illustrations in Digital Inspirations Electronic books are public domain. Digital Inspirations copyright mark applies to the combination of the two on the Adobe Acrobat platform.
