HEREBY GIVEN that on
the 27th of June 2016
Monmouthshire County
Council of County Hall,
The Rhadyr, Usk, NP15
1GA ("the Council")
made the above order
which shall come into
force on 8th of July
2016.
EFFECT OF THE
ORDER: To introduce a
mandatory 40mph
speed limit on the
B4235. This approach
will provide a consistent
approach to the
implementation of
speed limits throughout
the villages along the
B4235.
Further details of the
Order comprising a
plan, statement of
reasons for making the
Order may be examined
during normal office
hours at County Hall,
The Rhadyr, Usk,
Monmouthshire, NP15
1GA and the Councils
Chepstow One Stop
Shop, Manor Way,
Chepstow, NP16 5HZ. If
you wish to telephone
to obtain further
information about this
proposal please

If any person wishes to
question the validity of
this Order or of any of
its provisions on the
ground that it or they
are not within the
powers conferred by
the Act, or that any
requirement of the Act
or of any instrument
made under the Act has
not been complied with,
that person may, within
six weeks from the 27th
of June 2016 (being the
date that the Order was
made), apply for the
purpose to the High
Court.

S14 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984.
The order was
proposed to facilitate
essential bridge
maintenance works. The
effect of the order
closed the Redwick
Road Railway Bridge,
