All the employees working in location where they are
exposed to high heat shall be instructed on heat hazard.
Different heat related illness, method of prevention and
treatment need be available on site.
Cold drinking water available and employee to be
instructed to drink adequate quantities of cold water to
compensate losses of water by sweating.
Provide heavy exhaust or stand fan in rest area or
corridors to control hot climate condition
Provide Oral Rehydration Solution (ORS), electrolyte
drinks to employees to maintain fluid in body.
Stop all activity that carried out in the direct sun during
hot period of the day in summer month from 12:003;30pm as per the instruction of the authority concerned
and main contractors / clients heat stress management
plan.
For the effect of the heat stress due to humid, job
rotation to be arranged to minimize the effect of heat
stress.
Operative having signs of heat stress/heat exhaustion to
be brought in recovery room for cooling.
