Destiny Church - teaching series ..LOVING PEOPLE..

This series is intended to instill in our church a heart for those outside ours doors at
each location and thrust in them the mind thats we have one life and one mission and
enough time to get the job done, and that is win souls and make disciples..
destiny next week is gonna be awesome we are going to touch lives in a awesome way,
the Holy Spirit is already working on lives and thru you willingness and obedience
(Is 1:19) will will enlarge the kingdom of God Man! I am excited
This week we really want to give you seeds to think about, I really believe that many
Christians around the world have bought into the lie, the lie that we can do nothing to
save the world, last week we were gonna show you a video called ..lost at sea.. You
should check it out on Youtube but basicly its all about saving lifes a ship is damaged at
sea and people are dying yet when they radio for help the only ship out the close and
avia.able is ,,Cropus Cristi.. Which means the body of Christ yet they are so
comfortable, enjoying life that they refuse to respond. What makes a church a body of
people to be disinteested in saving dying souls lost at sea, I want you to think abut a real
sober thought, O I know its church but eah jst think of this ..WHAT IF ALL OF US HERE
TODAY, WERE ALL THE CHRISTIANS IN EXSISTENCE? I mean what us there were
no more then us, and the weight of the worlds salvation was intrusted to US? Would you
see things in a different light? Would you change the way you life act and would you
sence of urgency and mission change? Of course
Today We want to share a famous saying and apply it to our lives ..IF I WERE THE
DEVIL..

If I were the Devil . . . I mean, if I were the Prince of Darkness, I would of course, want to
engulf the whole earth in darkness. I would have a third of its real estate and four-fifths
of its population, but I would not be happy until I had seized the ripest apple on the tree,
so I should set about however necessary to take over the United States. I would begin

with a campaign of whispers. With the wisdom of a serpent, I would whisper to you as I

If I were the devil, Id educate authors in how to make lurid literature exciting so that
anything else would appear dull an uninteresting. Id threaten T.V. with dirtier movies
and vice versa. And then, if I were the devil, Id get organized. Id infiltrate unions and
urge more loafing and less work, because idle hands usually work for me. Id peddle
narcotics to whom I could. Id sell alcohol to ladies and gentlemen of distinction. And Id
tranquilize the rest with pills. If I were the devil, I would encourage schools to refine
young intellects but neglect to discipline emotions . . . let those run wild. I would
designate an athiest to front for me before the highest courts in the land and I would get
preachers to say shes right. With flattery and promises of power, I could get the courts
to rule what I construe as against God and in favor of pornography, and thus, I would
evict God from the courthouse, and then from the school house, and then from the
houses of Congress and then, in His own churches I would substitute psychology for
religion, and I would deify science because that way men would become smart enough
to create super weapons but not wise enough to control them.
If I were Satan, Id make the symbol of Easter an egg, and the symbol of Christmas, a
bottle. If I were the devil, I would take from those who have and I would give to those
who wanted, until I had killed the incentive of the ambitious. And then, my police state
would force everybody back to work. Then, I could separate families, putting children in
uniform, women in coal mines, and objectors in slave camps. In other words, if I were
Satan, Id just keep on doing what hes doing.

The devil has work over time trying to get the church to believe a lie so the world would
be lost, know I am not the devil but if I were I would tell the church the following lies to i
sure the failure of Christianity, and to assure hell would be filled

Revelation 12: 9 This great dragonthe ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, the
one deceiving the whole worldwas thrown down to the earth with all his angels.
The devil is out to deceive people and this includes the church
Jn 8:44 For you are the children of your father the devil, and you love to do the evil
things he does. He was a murderer from the beginning. He has always hated the truth,
because there is no truth in him. When he lies, it is consistent with his character; for
he is a liar and the father of lies

Matt 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached

throughout the whole world, as a testimony to all nations; and then the
end will come. (RSV) so he works to make us not preach the gospel
and lock us in church.

Satan knows because he has been around that what God says is true, so
He is working over time trying to stop us

Rev 3:11 "Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have,
that no one may take your crown.

Rev 22:7 "Behold, I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps

the words of the prophecy of this book." (NKJ)

Rev 22:12 12 "And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is

with Me, to give to every one according to his work. (NKJ) Rev 22:20 He
who testifies to these things says, "Surely I am coming quickly." Amen.
Even so, come, Lord Jesus! (NKJ)

IF I WERE THE DEVIL

1. I WOULD STOP THE GOSPEL FROM BEING PREACHED TO THE
WORLD
II Ped 3:12 Look and hurry it along.. Jesus wanted his delay to be quick, but we have
slwed it down, we can hurry He coming

We wait for him to come he waits for us to GO, and take the gospel to
the world.

His commandment, we are here because He has a mission

Satan will Do everything to keep the church from going

Distract the church

Focus their attention and time on programs, self help and not passion
and commitment.

Church history shows that for 300 there was no mission

1. I would make evangalizing and missions to be the lest important thing in
church, forget the Lost that would be my model focus on church
2. I would have the church focus on this life and not eternal life
Live for today dont worry about the after life

Live for the moment for today, the YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE! Fovus on
now this is your life dont tink about eternity. And dont think about standing
before God and giving a account for what you did in this life

4. I would make the great comission the great omission
I would tear out Mt 28:19 and Mt 16:15

Have them teach popular stuff learn and learn and seek to be filled
and filled but not become doers of the word and world changers:

I would make them feel theres plenty of time why hurry lets enjoy life,
Id make sure no one has a burden for the lost, everything is fine take it
easy

Robert Mofet said - you will have all eternity to celebrate your
victory's but only but a hour to win them

We are wasting the day we have lets do something that will make
eternity and last forever

Focus on the wrong priorities

1 Cor 7:29 The important thing to remember is that our remaining

time is very short, [and so are our opportunities for doing the Lord's
work]...TLB)

Teach us to count our days hat we may apply wisdom to them

Super bowl - a women was at the super bowl and she had a empty
seat next to her, one guy asked her why is that seat available? Se said I
couldnt find anyone that would come with me, why? They are all busy, 1
seat for husband and he died so they all went to funeral, hahahahaha

5. I would motivate believers to PRAY FOR THE HARVEST.

(Because it is less effictive then sending laboures. John 4:35
.remember it is not the harvest that is not ready it is us, and the harvest is
being destroyed

Mt 9:35 ..to send forth laborers.. Cast out (ecbalo) drive tear cast out,
violently the word used to cast out demons used to cast out sent ones

Go and preach tell the story thats what we need. We need men and
women abd money to go!

Luke 10:2 to send forth labourers in the field.

6. I would tell them the getting filled with the spirit is for their
enjoyment to feel good and grow spiritually focus on me! Anoint me, help
me, fill me, build me, give me etc. Kenneth Hagin said people pray ..Lord
bless me us four and no more.. Hahaha (funny but true)
Acts 1:8 you shall be my witnesses said the Lord

and lead the world to God and evangelize the world

the favor of the Lord.. Makes me mad, we dont think of the wold and
there destiny

Listen guys the infilling with the spirit of God is to enable us to go boldly
into the world around us penetrate darkness and prevail at getting people
saved, lets get filled so we can do what Peter did ..stood on His feet and
preached and lead 3000 people to conversion, we have the comission we
have the power stop focusing on you, God has invested to much in us to be
lost

I love the move of God and enjoy His presence but it is not my
purpose, I am not here to entertain or focus on me I am here to be a
witness

We are almost finished its the last laps lets close in - be a part or

I would make the church fight amoung self critize and murmur, focus
on doctrine disputes and loose their strength

I would make the pastors do it all as the church stands and watchs
them het burned out, the church is not here to entertain but we are the
answer to the worlds need

I would make the church think there is only one way to do church and
ministry.

I would make the church think small and never dream big
I qwould make the new generation become bored leave church
and loose their destiny.
