The New Year is a time to set goals for
the future. There is a feeling of renewal
and excitement for a fresh new future
different from the past. But these future
plans usually fall short ending right back
where they started except with a defeated
spirit.

*With any real cure the root or source of the problem must be realized.
*Here is a process to uncover the blocks to permanent change.
The source of a problem begins with our heritage, family, and is in the genes physically
and spiritually. This cannot be denied. You can move away, change your name and
disconnect but you are still connected and affected. We inherit the karma of our families
just like we inherit the genes in our DNA.
Our energy centers connect us on a multidimensional level through the chakras of the
body. These energy centers connect to our glandular functions. This is where disease
originates. We come into this world with weakness and strengths. This is carried from
our past lives, and the families we are born into give us the perfect opportunities for
growth to heal our karmas. Astrology can give you sight into what chakras or past issues
prevent you from realizing your happiness. The planets are aligned with the chakras as in
our solar system and problems within a birth chart will indicate the strength or weakness
of a planet and therefore where your blockages are to your growth and happiness.
Our growth mentally, emotionally, and spiritually is the purpose for our life here and
will lead us to discover happiness.
nterestingly, the 4th house in the birth chart is the house of our past, heritage and
happiness. This is the house to be analyzed for a sense of security. It is our physical
heritage as in the DNA and our spiritual heritage such as Karma. To understand this
sector of a chart will reveal the missing pieces of what blocks us from our spiritual
transformation that we are here to discover. This is what we feel is always missing.
Planets in the 4th house and the planet that rules the 4th house indicate our soul essence.
This is the midnight of the chart. If you have the Sun in the 4th chart you were born at
midnight. In the darkness we discover the truth and uncovering the hidden part of
ourselves will bring us into the light.
Our past contains the basis of what our soul is here to learn.
It can be difficult to take an honest look at what we are suppressing. But it is definitely
liberating. Growth is like child birth; it is painful but always creates a new beginning.
This year between January and May there is a grand trine between retrograde Mars, Jupiter and
Pluto. This gives profound opportunities for growth. Mars retrograde intensifies and
gives focus in the area it resides in your chart. The power of a grand trine gives ease to
understanding the areas you once thought impossible to work on. 2012 is the year for
change and transformation.
The New Year resolutions will last when the core of a problem is recognized and worked
on. This involves uncovering the soul and karma of the deep matters from the past. This
work is not easy but the results will give you that missing piece that fills your heart and
soul with happiness. The summer months transiting Jupiter conjoins Ketu which will
activate a spiritual revelation and completion. This spiritual fulfillment equates to
happiness.
Astrologically this process involves an in-depth look at the 4th house. The moksha houses
4, 8 and 12 reveal the karma of the soul. Moksha means spiritual liberation. The planets in
terms of their relationship to the chakras can indicate problems or afflictions. Certain
yoga exercises and breath work can be prescribed to activate the afflicted chakras. But
most of outward work in your life is imperative. This involves a conscious effort to look
within to change the areas of your life that are blocked.
The transits of this beautiful grand trine occurring can be used to heal your life issues
that are causing the blocks to freedom and happiness. The transit of Saturn in Libra gives
clues as to how to harness this energy in the coming years. Transiting Ketu is the key for
powerful spiritual change.
The conjunction of Jupiter and Ketu will give a spiritual awareness in your life. This is
the area that will be opened for your future happiness. This opening will occur for
everyone this year when Jupiter conjuncts Ketu this July 2012.
If something is not working in your life then the source or core reason needs to be
addressed to cure your sense of unhappiness and produce the growth that leads to
fulfillment and happiness. Money issues, relationship issues, career and self esteem issues
are all symptoms of imbalances in the core, and your 4th house and the planets that relate
to the charkas will give answers. But you must do the work to change your life, and the
result is happiness.

When we are open and aware of the higher consciousness accessible to all of us, then an
awakening of our spiritual power heals our suffering. In the darkness of our ignorance,
we are not aware of our higher power. Our negative energy blocks this awareness. The
negative energy is fear, which is magnified by our thoughts and emotions. Being stuck in
emotions rooted in our past blocks spiritual healing power. Mass consciousness is
consumed with negative emotions and thoughts. We are something far greater than what
we currently believe. When we have complete faith and belief in the spiritual power of
love, compassion and healing, we cancel negativity and ignorance. The spiritual powers
of healing and love cannot reach us when we are consumed with the ignorance of the
world. This realization will heal our lives and promote healing in the world. Know it,
believe it and pass the message on!

January begins the New Year of 2012 and hopes and expectations run high, but the future
looks bleak with unfolding economic crises. The most interesting transit will be Mars turning
retrograde. Transiting Mars will station at 29 degrees Leo, which is the exact degree of President
Obamas natal Mars in his 8th house. The New Year starts out with difficult news for
President Obama. Mars is the planet of anger, war and attacks and indicates a
contentious year of struggles, difficulties and attacks on American soil. The year of 2012
will continue with one difficult event after another. Time will seem to be speeding up.
As Jupiter and Saturn face off in opposition, the economic balance will seem to be in full
swing and is an illusion of hope for a New Year. When Jupiter and Saturn oppose, the
economy will begin to find a balance, but there will be still one more quincunx to pass
through before the economic crisis is over. This last balancing act will inspire a positive
economic outlook that will have the world spending and appearing to be functioning
again, but dont get too comfortable because the last bail out may be America. The last 6
months of the year will explode with a collapse unforeseen by many optimistic
trendsetters.
