Marketing Plan for 2015

Breakfast of Champions
Introduction:
The Legal Aid Society of the Orange County Bar Inc, is a non-profit organization that
works with charities and over 7,342 orange county attorneys. Currently, there are 17
associations in orange county. The Legal Aid provides assistance to low-income
residents, the working poor, and abused, abandoned, and neglected children in civil
legal aid arena.
The Breakfast of Champions is an annual fundraising event hosted by the Legal Aid
Society that brings in over 600 members of the legal community every year. The profits
raised through these events goes towards helping the offices of the legal aid who
provide help throughout the low-income community.
The following are brief descriptions of Marketing Tactics, Objectives, and Strategies we
can use to make this year as successful as the past ones.

Goal Statement:
To solicit corporate donations for the 8th annual Breakfast of Champions to benefit the
non-profit organization.

Objectives:
1. Acquire at least 10 large sponsors (Silver Sponsorship or higher)
2. Acquire at least 15 smaller sponsors (Bronze and Copper)
3. To bring more community awareness

Market:
The target audience for this fundraiser is Forbes list of Americas Most Generous
Corporations and the corporations located in Florida that are known to give back to the
community.

Action Plan:
In order to garner as many sponsors as we can, Legal Aid must advertise in every
available platform.

Advertising/PR: Through Press releases and advertisements put in newspapers


and local magazines, we can generate sponsors to participate in the fundraising
event.
Radio: Calling local radio stations and asking them play a public service
announcement will get the word around about the fundraiser
Direct Mail/Newsletters: Acquiring a mailing lists and distributing flyers can help
attract philanthropists who are looking to support a communal cause.
Website Promotions: Creating a Facebook event page and adding different
organizations online will help the social presence of both the Legal Aid Society
and the event itself. Creation of a Twitter page and twitting about the event once
a week can keep our followers updated on how the event is panning out so far.

To ensure that everything is on schedule, it is a good idea to set out all the proposed
activity, from the fundraising marketing campaign launch to the actual event date. The
