will invest Rs. 7,500 million to triple its cheese production capacity from 40 TPD to 120 TPD by setting up a new cheese plant

Subramania Siva Cooperative Sugar Mills is planning a distillery & a CPP at Village Gopalapuram, dist. Dharmapuri, Tamil Nadu on
96.14 acres of existing land. The distillery will produce 45 KLD Extra Neutral Alcohol (ENA), 45 KLD fuel ethanol, 2.25 KLD impure
sprit & will also comprise of a 1 MW CPP (using furnace oil-fired boiler). The power requirement of the distillery will be met from
the 1 MW CPP. The project will come up in the existing plant comprising of a 2,500 TCD sugar plant & a 5 MW power plant.
Equipment suppliers are yet to be appointed. Pune-based civil contractor has been appointed. Mantras Green Resource, Nashik is
the environmental consultant. The project is awaiting environmental clearance and is planned for completion in 1.5 years after the
receipt of the clearance. The company has also provided land to TANGEDCO for setting up a 15 MW power plant in its premises for
which 50% of work has been completed. According to MoEF sources, the estimated cost of the project is Rs. 900 million, out of
which, Rs. 90 million will be from own funds, Rs. 360 million will be funded through loan from Sugar Development Fund, Rs. 450

NV Distilleries & Breweries (North East), a part of NV Group, proposes a 200 KLD grain-based distillery, a 15 KLD malt spirit distillery,
bottling of IMFL & country liquor and a 10 MW co-generation power plant at Village Rampur, dist. Kamrup, Assam. The current
status of the project could not be ascertained. According to MoEF sources, the distillery will produce ENA. The total land area is 25
acres and 33% of the area will be developed as green belt. The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 2.43 billion. Administrative build-
ing, store, workshop, canteen, first aid station along with plant installation will be constructed. The power plant will entail one 65
TPH boiler having coal/ rice husk/ pet coke/ PNG as fuel. Power requirement of 4.5 MW will be met from the 10 MW co-generation
