Subject: Entry of FIR.
Dear Sir, I, Farjana Yeasmin, daughter of Md. Jashim Uddin , Address: 21, Elephant Road, Dhaka, accompanied by my classmates Asma Jahan, Tahmina Toma, Dola, Tisha, Mashrur and also with the arrested person named Pichchi Hannan lodging this information to you today the 25th August, 2014 at 8:30 pm to the effect thatToday in the afternoon at about 4:30 pm I along with other classmates went to the Science Annex Building to attend a Eid Reunion event organized by Bangladesh Law Association. At 6:30 pm, there was a short interval of the event for prayer and at that time I along with my classmates Asma went to the Jatio Shaheed Minar premises to take a light refreshment. At about 6:45 pm we purchased two plates of Fuchka and were taking those sitting on the lawn of the Shaheed Minar. In a few moments three unknown miscreants, one of them was carrying a sharp cutting knife, came to us and ordered to handover our vanity bags and wrist watches. Out of fear, we were compelled to handover those to the miscreants. Afterwards, the miscreants fled the place quickly. Then and then we raised a cry. Hearing our cry, many people including Habib, Tarek, Mashrur and some others went to the place of occurrence and some of them chased the miscreants. After chasing, Mashrur caught hold of one of the miscreants and took him to the Shaheed Minar premises. We recognized him as one of the miscreants. The miscreants told that his name is Pichchi Hannan and the names of his companions were Kala Jahangir and Mridul. Further he admitted that they had extorted the vanity bags and wrist watches. In my vanity bag, there was a I-Phone and a Smartphone valued at Taka 56,000/- (fifty six thousand) and cash Taka 3,000/- (three thousand). The value of wrist watch was Taka 5,000/(five thousand). Moreover, in the vanity bag of Asma there was a Sony Xperia phone valued at Taka 32,000/- (twenty two thousand) and cash Taka 2,000/- (two thousand) the value of her wrist watch was Taka 6,000/- (six thousand) The miscreants extorted our valuable articles amounting to Taka 1,04,000- (one lac four thousand) In the day light, we have recognized the miscreants, are of about 25 years of age and are of black complexion. Well able to recognize the two other miscreants if produced before us. We have narrated the occurrence to the people and to my classmates who came to the place of occurrence and heard the occurrence. For consultation with the teachers and the varsity authorities there has been a little delay in lodging this information. I, therefore, request you to kindly investigate the occurrence and take necessary legal steps against the miscreants. Yours Sincerely, Farjana Yeasmin, 21, Elephant Road, Dhaka
