Uses
Sika -101a seeks out and blocks the pores in concretes structures
such as:
Construction
- Basements
- Culverts
- Inspection-chambers
- Manholes
- Water-tanks
- Reservoirs
Advantages
Sika -101a provides the following beneficial properties in post applied water
proofing:
- Impermeable
- Good adhesion to sound concrete
- Allows the substrate to "breath"
- Non-toxic
- Chloride free
Mixing
Add powder to given amount of water, and stir with a low speed mixer for
5 minutes until a lump free smooth consistency is achieved.
Application
Important Recommendations Protect from rain, strong winds and direct sunshine. Keep moist for first
3-4 days, after application. Protect slurry in pedestrian areas by overlaying
with 3:1 sand : cement screed.
