Abstract
A green building which also known as sustainable building is designed to meet some
objectives such as occupant health; using energy water and other resources more
efficiently and reducing the overall impact to the environment. It is an important
opportunity to use the resources efficiently while creating healthier buildings that
improve the health build the better environment and provide cost savings.

Introduction
Green building also known as green construction. It is a way of enhancing the
environment. It benefits human, the community and the environment in order to reduce
consumption while enhancing quality of life. This ultimately results in reduction of green
house gases which will help to reduce green house effect. This paper presents an
overview of application of modern green infrastructure construction technology which
makes a significant impact on proper conservation and utilization of resources like land
water energy air material thereby reducing the overall cost of construction as well as
adverse impact of climate change.

Problems:
Cost of a building?
Solution:- We can use low cost material for making building.
.
Material of GREEN BUILDING used?
Solution:-Material which is used in making should be by product or eco friendly
material like fly ash, silica flumes.
How can determine the material is green or not?
Solution:-If these questions exist than the material ids green:
1.
2.
3.
4.
5.
6.

Where did this material come from?

What are the by-products of its manufacturer?
How is the material delivered and installed?
How is the material maintained and operated?
How healthy are the materials?
What do we do with them once we are done with these materials?

GREEN BUILDING

Importance of GREEN BUILDING:

Enhance and protect biodiversity and ecosystems.
Improve air and water quality
Reduce waste streams.
Converse and restore natural resources
Reduce operating cost
Improve occupant productivity.
Optimize life cycle economic performance.
Enhance occupant health and comfort.
CONCLUSION

This research identified the exciting developments taking place on the technology front
and analyzes their implications for intelligent and green buildings, highlighting examples
of best in class buildings employing green and intelligent technologies. These buildings
are dynamic environments that respond to their occupants? Changing needs and
lifestyles. This research provided documented evidence to educate and influence endusers, building owners, architects, and contractors that a greener building can be
achieved using intelligent technology and that this greening will provide a tangible and
significant return on investment .to all of the above going GREEN IS THE ONLY.
