Building Works

OPERATIONAL DETAILS
A)

Design & Drawing :

i)

Design and drawing for execution will be prepared by Consultants and drawings good for
construction will be issued to DTC Drawing Controller (Planning Engineers).Receipt will
be endorsed on transmitted by DTC Drawing Controller. Issuance of Drawing will be in soft
format and hard copies as well.

ii)

Records of drawing thus received will be maintained by drawing controller in drawing


register. Further, drawings will be issued to Site Engineers and this issue records will
maintained. All superseded drawings will be returned back to drawing controller by Site
Engineers.

iii)

Any discrepancies found I drawings or details required will be communicated to


CLIENT/PMC for follow- up with Drawing Office.

iv)

Schedule of Release of drawings for construction based of schedule of construction will be


discussed periodically and same will be reviewed for adequacy.

v)

Any Changes, records of levels etc will be duly submitted to consultant to prepare as built
drawing after the completion of works.

B)

Site Infra-structure:
Site infra-structure will be developed in co-ordination with Client regarding location, size
etc. following infra is planned at site :

i)

Pm Office / Conference

ii)

Site Stores

iii)

Work shop / office and QC Laboratory

iv)

Section Incharge Office at two locations

v)

Shuttering Yard

vi)

Reinforcement Yard

vii)

Fabrication Yard

viii)

Safety Office / First Aid / Training Centre

ix)

Toilets / Urinal for Labours

x)

Drinking water Points

xi)

Power & Water Grid

xii)

Labour colony-Outside premises

C. Operational Setup :
Site activities will be carried out on basis of following separate terms reporting to PM
Section- Incharge- Civil Works
Section- Incharge- Structural Steel Works
Incharge- Site Store
Incharge Safety
Incharge QA QC
Incharge Plant & Machinary
Incharge Administration
Planning and Co ordination Team
All staff working under MCAK will be given Job Responsibility duty signed by Project Incharge
And Job allocation of individuals will also be decided.
D. Activities :

All activities will be carried out as per method statement / procedure attachment herewith.

Shuttering will be designed and detailed prior to execution. Copies of details will be available
with execution team for assembling.

Co-ordination will be done for interface activities with over client

Quality control and Assurance will be established and monitored by safety team on day to day
basis.

Action will be initiated to make up backlogs if any.

Records of executed items, quality of works, defects if any will be duly recorded and any
Corrective actions required will be initiated.

E. Project Monitoring:

This will be done independently by Planning & Co- ordination team under PM

Any make up required will be planned with individual teams and addressed.

Regular Co-ordination and review meeting will be held periodically internally and with client.

Project monitoring will be as per the established procedure of MCAK. It includes following:
i)

Preparation of Master Schedule

ii)

Preparation of weekly and monthly targets for various teams

iii)

Preparation of bought out Items List for procurement showing target dates of
procurements

iv)

Monitoring the targets and delay for major activities if any.

v)

Maintaining Delay Statement showing breakup of ( delay and action taken.

F. Handing Over:
Handing Over will be phasewise. Requirements of succeeding agency will be taken into the
account while completion phase wise.
Any Snags / defects left in the work will be jointly listed with client and cleared.
