Daily field HSE inspection – monitor of fabrication activities; ensure compliance of OSHA standards and
company’s HSE policy. Verify compliance of safety procedures for crane lifting operations, work at heights, and
hot work among others. Conduct HSE training on overhead cranes, man lift, industrial fork trucks, fall prevention
and fall arrester systems, eyes and hands at safety. Provide appropriate countermeasures to safety deviations.
Issue Environment, Health and Safety bulletin, safety alert and weekly safety topics in English and Spanish.

Job Position – Responsibilities: HSE Superintendent Nov 2007 – June 2008
Daily field-facilities inspections and monitoring of construction and commissioning activities, verified compliance
of OSHA standards, audited of PTW, hot tapping, confine space entries, lifting operations, work at height,
excavations. Walk thru inspections with construction and commissioning managers to discuss and provide
suitable countermeasures to safety deviations. Seven HSE supervisors under my command. Daily report to
HSE Manager about issues at tank farm. 10 MM hours achieved without LTI.

StatoilHydro International – Platform Deltana – Gas Exploration Project - Venezuela


Job Position – Responsibilities: Shore-base HSE Supervisor - May 2006 – Nov 2007 (project term)
Conducted inspections, audited and supported contractors on HSE issues; crane load lifting, forklift, anchor
handling towing supply vessels and worksite inspections and defensive driving workshops - Environmental
supervision of segregation and transport of wastes according to environmental standards. Daily report to logistic
and HSE managers about dry dock and vessels issues. More than 365 days achieved without LTI.

MECOR C. A. - Contractor - Sincor (Total – Statoil – Pdvsa) Refinery – Venezuela (project term)
