These differences reflect the different sort of lexicon the people of my friends community used.
Now these patterns were also common in the Bangla his mother spoke. Some examples of the

The traces of these differences could be drawn back when I had enquired about the immigration
history. The community they belonged to had its roots in Comilla. The particular variant they use
in their speech draws its roots from their village. The language is commonly declared corrupt and
the Agartala literary circle or the elite circle made only feeble attempts to protect this variety. The
literary works continue to process in the Western dialect. Though this variety exists in the lower
classes of society and is prominent in the speech of the daily wage workers who come to the city
for temporary works in construction sites and local shops.
