About the Book Pick!

Tori Spring is generally disappointed in people.

Until the year a secretive online group called Solitaire targets her school
in a series of mysterious pranks. Until the year she meets Michael Holden:
irrepressibly cheerful, weird— and everything Tori normally hates. But for some
reason he’s determined to be her friend.

When Solitaire’s pranks start to get dangerous, Tori tries not to care. She
hates getting involved. But this time, the idea of doing nothing is even worse.
Suddenly Tori has to face the world she’s tried so hard to ignore—only to
discover that the right person can change everything.
