Thesis Statement:
During the 20th century, Dwight D. Eisenhower was and continues to be a
prominent figure in America; as the 34th president of the United States, Eisenhower
established many accomplishments, such as: being a military general and mostly
importantly, forming Americas space program, NASA, which build up his reputation of
leadership and legacy.

Summary: This source is a letter written by Dwight D. Eisenhower. Essentially,
he writes about why he introduced NASA to the country and how it can contribute
to the society with exploration of space travel and the knowledge of the earth and
solar system. This source helps with my topic because it defines Eisenhowers
legacy and why he introduced NASA to America. It proves to America that he
created because he believes it is important to learn more about space in order to
improve or possibly expand our current state. It helped me understand the motives
and goals Eisenhower is trying to achieve with the establishment of NASA.

Summary: This source is a research analysis of the impact of U.S. and Soviet
space programs on world opinion. The summary includes awareness, nature of
coverage, military implications, effects of military linkage, the competitive aspect,
restoring a balance and many more topics to summarize space research. It helps
with my topic because it gives me aspects of other countries regarding the space
program. The summary includes and covers most topics and questions one may
have on space program and how other countries tie in with it.

Summary: The whole NASA website is a useful source because we are doing a
project on NASA and the website contains many information on space and
technology. There are records of space travel with news, missions, and even
images of space. This source helps with my topic because the NASA website
describes everything known to men about space. It includes images of space;
future missions, maps, and numerous information regarding space travel that will
be helpful on the project. This source can act as a primary document as well,

birth date and where he was born. His two biggest achievements include his
presidency and military general as stated in the source. This source helps with our
project by providing us with background information to form our argument on
Eisenhowers legacy and leadership. It further brought my understanding to how
Eisenhower became a leader in America and what he has done to contribute to
society.

thus the source can be trusted. The source talks about Eisenhowers presidency
but begins with his leadership as a military general. It goes through the process of
how he changed America to the time he became a president. This source is
essentially a biography of Dwight D. Eisenhower. This credible source can help
with the research because it describes all the works Eisenhower has done for
America, most importantly his presidency, military position, and NASA.
However, this page mostly focuses on his military actions.

also gives an important military aspect of NASA, which is crucial especially since

effective in persuading NASA. It helps me with my project because it has many

created NASA. It is important to use this because it will affect other researches
