USC's Leonard Williams and Utah's Tom Hackett earned their second straight first team selections. Mariota was named Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Year while Arizona's Scooby Wright III earned Defensive Player of the Year honors. Oregon's Royce Freeman and USC's Adoree' Jackson took home Freshman Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year awards, respectively.

    PAC-12 FOOTBALL ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM ANNOUNCED


    SAN FRANCISCOOREGON teammates Marcus Mariota, Hroniss Grasu, and Ifo Ekpre-Olomu have been named Pac-12
    First Team All-Conference for the third consecutive year, while USCs Leonard Williams and UTAHs Tom Hackett have
    earned first-team honors for the second straight season and highlight this years All-Conference squad. As announced earlier today, Mariota was tabbed the Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Year, ARIZONAs Scooby Wright III the Pat Tillman Defensive Player of the Year, Oregons Royce Freeman the Pac-12 Offensive Freshman of the Year, USCs Adoree Jackson the
    Pac-12 Defensive Freshman of the Year, and Arizonas Rich Rodriguez the Pac-12 Coach of the Year.

    With the exception of the Scholar-Athlete of the Year Award, All-Conference honors are voted on by the Pac-12 Head
    Coaches.
    The All-Conference defensive team usually consists of 11 players (4 DL, 3 LB, 4 DB). However, there was a tie at defensive
    back for both the first team and second team. Hence, five defensive backs are listed on both squads. There was also a tie
    for second team AP/ST.
    Oregons Marcus Mariota is the first quarterback in league history to earn first team honors three times.
    Washingtons Shaq Thompson is a double honoree, earning first team honors on defense (LB) and special teams (AP/ST)
    First team honors by class: 11 seniors, 11 juniors, 4 sophomores.
