Udaipur is also known as the City of Lakes, is a city, a Municipal Corporation and the administrative headquarters of
the Udaipur district in the state of Rajasthan in western India.Udaipur is the historic capital of the kingdom of Mewar in the
former Rajputana Agency. The Sisodia clan of Rajputs ruled the Mewar and its capital was shifted from Chittorgarh to Udaipur
after founding city of Udaipur by MaharanaUday Singh. The Mewar province became part of Rajasthan after India became
independent.
Apart from its history, culture, and scenic locations, it is also known for its Rajput-era palaces. The Lake Palace, for instance,
covers an entire island in the Pichola Lake. Many of the palaces have been converted into luxury hotels. It is often called the
"Venice of the East", and is also nicknamed the "Lake City".LakePichola, FatehSagar Lake, UdaiSagar and SwaroopSagar in
this city are considered some of the most beautiful lakes in the state.
Chittorgarh, also called Chittaur, from the 7th century to the 16th, was the capital of Mewar under the Rajputs. Chittaur evokes
memories of great heroism and sacrifice by Rajput men and women in the intermittent battles that they had to fight against
invaders from Northwest or Delhi. Chittaur witnessed both the ravages of war and the triumphs of the spirit. AllaudinKhilji who
coveted Queen Padmini of Chittaur, invaded the city in 1303 A.D. Queen Padmini and the women of the court sacrificed
themselves in a pyre of fire rather than submit to anybody. This supreme sacrifice has been called 'Jauhar' and epitomises the
fiery spirit of the Rajputs of the day. The city stands strewn with monuments and battlements as evidence of the blood and gore
that it went through in medieval times.
Detailed Itinerary:
Meet & GREET @ 6:00 PM
Departure: At 07:00 by Train / Bus
Day 1:
Arrival at Udaipur Hotel 10 AM, Arrival at Hotel/Resort Check in & Allotment of Rooms by 11 AM, followed by meal at
Hotels restaurant. After meal half day city tour visit Sahelion Ki Bari, a Cruise in Lake Pichola Back to Hotel by 7:30 P.M.
Dinner followed Overnight at the resort Rooms.
Day 2:
Waking up early morning, followed by Breakfast at Resorts restaurant @ 8:00 am. After breakfast boarding the bus for
Chittorgarh by & arrival at chittorgarh by 11:00 AM. Lunch arrangements by 12:00 PM Half day city tour visit to Chittorgarh
fort & Sanwariyaji Temple. Back to resort by 9:00 P.M. Dinner followed by Music arrangements in Hotel overnight at the
resort Rooms.
Day 3:
Waking up early morning, followed by Breakfast at Resorts restaurant @ 7:30 am. After breakfast boarding bus MountAbu by 8:00 AM arrival by 11:30 AM. Lunch arrangements by 12:00 PM Half day city tour visit to Dilwara Jain Temple &
Aadhar Devi Temple. Back to Hotel at Mount-Abu by 9:00 P.M. Dinner in Hotel overnight at the Hotels Rooms.
Day 4:
Enjoy a Hearty breakfast at 7:30 AM. After breakfast we will move for local sightseeing places by 11:00 AM we will move
for Udaipur by Bus arrival at Udaipur by 3:00 PM later day free your leisure activity or you can walk in the local market of
Udaipur. We will proceed for Udaipur Railway Station by 5:30 PM, and we will board train Mewar Express / Bus at 06:15
PM, We will be in Delhi by 7 AM.
