Red Ribbon (bakeshop)

Red Ribbon Bakeshop is a popular fast-food chain


and bakery in the Philippines and the United States,
offering a wide range of cakes and pastries. The chain
began in the Philippines in 1979 in Quezon City along
Timog Avenue and started franchising in 1999. In 1984,
they opened their first US branch in West Covina,
California. Today, there are more than 200 branches all
over the Philippines, and there are now 32 stores all
over California, two in Las Vegas, two in New
Jersey (Jersey City and Bergenfield), one in
metro Phoenix,

one in New York and one in Virginia

worked out.

In 2005, Red Ribbon was acquired by Jollibee Foods
Corporation, a conglomerate of popular fast-food chains
in the Philippines.

Jollibee
Jollibee Foods Corporation abbreviated as JFC and
popularly known as Jollibee (PSE: JFC) is
a Philippine multinational chain of fast food
restaurants headquartered in Pasig City, Philippines.
JFC is the parent company of Jollibee, the country's
answer toMcDonald's in the fast food burger business.
With its success, the company bought out their
competitors in the fast food business
like Chowking, Greenwich Pizza, Red Ribbon
bakeshop, Mang Inasal and Burger King
Philippines.

In 2011, JFC had a total of 2,510 stores
worldwide with a system wide retail sales totaling to
82.1 billion pesos for the fiscal year 2011.

Alaska Milk Corporation (AMC) is the leading manufacturer of milk products in the Philippines. Its products are sold
under the Alaska brand. The company also owns the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) team, the Alaska Aces.
In 2012, Dutch dairy cooperative FrieslandCampina acquired control (98.1%) of the company from the founding
Uytengsu family.

San Miguel Corporation
Established in 1890 as a brewery, San Miguel
Corporation (PSE: SMC) is Southeast Asia's largest
publicly listed food, beverage and packaging company
with over 17,000 employees in over 100 major facilities
throughout the Asia-Pacific region.

Republic Biscuit Corporation
Republic Biscuit Corporation (Rebisco) is
a Philippine manufacturer of biscuits and snacks based
in Novaliches, Quezon City,Philippines. It was
established in 1963, founded by Jacinto Ng. Generations
of Filipinos have been enjoying Rebiscos basic portfolio
of biscuits and now its wide range of snack foods.

Ayala Malls is a real-estate subsidiary of Ayala Land, an
affiliate of Ayala Corporation. Founded in 1988, Ayala

the Philippines. Ayala Malls is the third largest shopping
mall retailers in the Philippines, after SM
Supermalls and Robinsons Malls.

holding company of the SM Group, SM Department Store is a founding retail center where various brands of fashion,
footwear, bags, accessories, toys, gadgets and other types of products can be found. SM Department Store now holds more
than 30 branches located at cities and provinces in the Philippines. SM Department Store became one of the top retail
centers in the Philippines.
